I'm guessing it has to the whole emotion of the song. That's if you're referring to 'Are We The Waiting'. I mean, one of the themes of the album is coming of age. 3nodding

It's when JoS is still confused about stuff. He doesn't know what he's doing, he's just wandering the streets ("Starry nights, city of lights...") and he's confused. He doesn't even know who he is anymore. And thats when I think he's goes schitzophrenic and becomes St. Jimmy.

He doesn't even know who he is anymore. And thats when I think he's goes schitzophrenic and becomes St. Jimmy. Yeah, I can see that. I like the song because it has an element of being lost yet having peace of mind at the same time.

Jimmy is born, i think its why the song abruptly goes into St. Jimmy but i think the song is largely about him being sick of waitng for something to happen rather than making something happen.

I really love this song xd but yeah anyway the song is about the mental state the character is in, right on the verge of insanity. He is waking the streets and knows he is about to lose his mind. Notice how the song introduces St. Jimmy.

YEAH! Dude, St. Jimmy's all cool as much as he's an a*****e. You can tell. People like him anyway, even if he's an a*****e! Dude! Sorry, it's the espresso mocha latte. *breaks into song* "are we we are, are we we are the waiting!"

"Are we we are" Could obviously be confusion. If we're talk schzophrania (obviously spelt wrong, sorry) It could be Jesus talking to himslef, obvious when split into two parts instead of the one line: "Are we?" "We are." Does that make sense?

i think everyone is over thinking it, It just seems to be playing with words to make them fit the song.
