I never really listen to more than 5ish songs from an artist
So I have like 974 songs on my iPod, but they're all a jumble of artists and genres and songs blah blah blah
But I generally like easy listening/soft rock (Coldplay + Goo Goo Dolls + Dido heart ), techno/gino beats ( CASCADA redface ), Random pop music (Madonna/James Blunt/That new Justin Timberslut song redface redface redface ), and a bunch of artists no one's ever heard of (Jem, Frou Frou, Muse, Sia), and MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS! smile JOHN WILLIAMS heart

I listen to a lot of Indie Pop.
There is the occasional mix of alternative, indie rock, etc.. ska, oldies, instrumental, Disney, and J-rock. XD; I'M ASIAN. talk2hand

I likeded this one Frou Frou song.
But I forgets what it's called. =(
Right now... I'm really not listening to much of anything, which is strange. I really like this super freaky song from a PS1 game called Vib Ribbon. The song is called Laugh and Beats.
And I was bumming around Purevolume today trying to find something new to listen to.
Ermmm.... there's a bit of A Perfect Circle, HIM, P!atD, The Hush Sound and The Strokes on my Winamp currently, but I haven't listened to those in agesssss >:[

I can't stand the cliche lyrics, repetitive beats and vulgar songs these days comes to prove. I mostly lay back on some Frank Sinatra or Goo Goo Dolls. Who actually have depth in their songs.
Don't get me wrong, I know there are some exceptions, but not enough to actually slip through the massacre of provacative, demeaning bands/ groups.
I also enjoy japanese music, despite the fact that I cannot fully comprehend what they say. I guess that's the beauty of it, since I can create my own lyrics that digs the most into my heart.
