I dont want any of you bashing PETA and you dont have to fill out the fourm if you dont want, even though that might be a good thing to stop their stupid research on this crap. I send them the letter, how dare they kill animals to try to find a cure for a disease that doesn't exist. I hope they stop this foolishness and start doing some productuve work like finding a cure for cancer or HIV/AIDS.

I like PETA but sometimes they are very extreme...
I don't mind them being extreme about this. ******** homophobes! Why do we need to be cured? We aren't sociopaths; we aren't psychotic!
Edit: I sent the guys who were conducting these "experiments" a letter:

Twack - O_o geeze.. that's not cool. Even if they were PETA I think I would have beat them in the faces. I hate people getting close to me and s**t ^^;;
Wel - Wow.. that's an awesome letter! You're right, I dont want to be changed either.
Fadia - Cause that's how humans are. They dont like something and they find excuses to get rid of them without getting in trouble.

Even then, imagine they did find a "cure" for the hormone that caused people to be attracted to the same gender.. I'm pretty sure if you suddenly experienced a biological change your mental habits would remain the same despite your different biological make up - in otherwords after that point homosexuality would remain in the person because it's what they're used to doing and always have done. Not to mention that messing with peoples' hormones is extremely dangerous and highly impractical.
Furthermore, it's just stupid, homosexuality is just part of being human, some humans arn't, given, but many are, and thus it is a distinct human trait.. It's like trying to find a cure for being asian, african, european, etc. Much like Michael Jackson... Hell before christianity almost everybody had a same sex fling here and there, or lived that way.

First off how can you justifiably call some one evil, when I doubt you know what "evil" really is. What is "evil" but something compared to "good"? Just like shallow is nothing if not compared to deep. Yes what these men are doing is by your morals wrong, but obviously there morals aren’t the same as your thus you can not say that they are “evil”. Your no better then any one who has ever called what they didn’t understand “evil” killing innocent people over grudges and ignorance. So until you understand every motive behind what is happing and you have walked miles in that persons shoes then don’t call them, or there actions, “evil”! Oh don't worry about rants. If ever anyone feels the need to disaggree with or question my points then by all means let it be known. All that I really request is that a formal and civil tone be kept throughout. Obviously, you don't have any trouble with formality. wink
I see that we are at odds here, but nevertheless, as I am sure you do, I stick by my thoughts and feelings. When I say that those men are evil, that is my belief, but in by being a belief, is not absolute by any means. You obviously don't feel the same way as me, thus, it's easy to say that the term evil is not absolute, and that fact can easily seen.
Do I know what evil really is? Well evil is proportional to ones lifes experiences. That which is evil for one person can not always be called evil by another, as is currently the case.
I hold no grudge against these men, and am by no means ignorant as I allready understood the meanings behind the words which I chose to use. In my eyes, these men have done something unspeakably wrong and are in my eyes evil, but I bear them no grudge, as I allready said. No man deserves to be hated for anything, I guess that would be the true evil. So for you to say that I am no better than the killers of innocent people is a vast misconception, and I do request most strongly that you review that statement.
I also request that any further arguement between us be taken to PM's.

I'm fairly certain that there are serious consequences to disturbing one's biological make-up. And to test it not only animals, but on humans. It could be extremely catastrophic to the "Test Subjects" being forced to involve themselves in that project.
And people say liberals are unethical.

And they really are wasting precious money on this so-called "experiment". I think the government's in on this. Trying to appease the conservatives and hope like hell there's something actually wrong with us. stressed
