My band has won State twice consecutively, and we're going for a third this year... razz anyone else's band marched at state before?

I'm from California, and we have a Western Band Association. Basically, it's against people from the western states, although it's usually all but maybe one or two from California. They'll be from Oregon or somewhere...nearby. C:
We've won for seven years in a row. And the second best band (now the third best...what happened to them last year? Dx) only won once because we went to the Macy's Thanksgiving parade instead. xD You should see all the trophies. We stash our second and third place trophies from before our current BD at the middle schools. Rofl...storage space!

Our band made it to state a few years ago, then got a 7th place and two 6ths in regionals. ('course, I wasn't in it then.) I hope that we'll get 5th this year so we get to state again.

We don't have state marching competitions (Virginia), but we have VBODA marching festivals, in which there isn't a placement, just ratings. We've gotten Superior for the past eight years, I believe.

Jewlz2007 You can't win state three years in a row in Texas..... stare And last year wasn't a AAA year.... neutral Actually...it is possible to win three times...it's just unheard of... xp and i know last year wasn't a AAA year....and lindale got lucky last year when they won Honor band....*gay* emo we SOO had them beat!!!!(i think they cheated!)

Last year was a 4A year... cuz.. we went to state in Texas, and we're a 4A.
What band do you go to? I wanna check this out because it doesn't sound likely that you know what you're talking about.

our band won state last year (minnesota) and got like 93 points which was amazing

our band has gotten at least in the top 4 i think for the last 7 yrs but nvr 1st so close one time last year we suxed though this year idk we havent had a competition yet but were in florida, hey and i was looking at the schedule for the 2nd comp and there was a 6A band!
