I've never been overly happy with the name of the guild, it was the result of a half-hearted effort from the people the guild was originally purchased for, and was settled on because of a lack of inspiration really, i've been wanting to change it for some time but the main thing stopping me (apart from lack of another name) was the fact that i'd have no banners. I didn't make the 2 named banners that we have as i don't have any knowledge in that department.
Then Eirwyn with her banner making skills joins the group and this idea starts poking me again.
So, i'm appealing for a little input here, now that we have a few adult members, plus our 2 scholarly gents, i'm hoping we can brainstorm and come up with something good.
I'm looking for something quintessentially British, but not excessively patriotic or xenophobic, otherwise we might aswell settle for 'We won the War' or 'Push off, Johnnie Foreigner'
I don't mind it being stereotypical, in fact i rather like the idea, there's nothing wrong with being thought of as a nation of tea drinking, biscuit munchers. It's the chav and football hooligan images that i'm looking to avoid stare
A witty anacronym would be nice, but once again this is something that is beyond my mental reach, so if anyone has any clever ideas, feel free to post them sweatdrop

Yes, I do occassionally do more around here than lurk and although I can't really help come up with a "British Name" for the guild, I can offer to do a banner if you need one - you may have to prod me a bit, though!
