I just want everybody to know that I'm a huuuuge Paris Hilton fan and I don't know why. It kinda seems like I would hate her at first glance, but I dunno it's like opposites attract. I really enjoy her new song 'Stars are Blind.' I have a feeling we'd get along really well for some reason.

Sam, if it helps I don't hate her ^^ I just think she needs to grow up and get more down to earth. *Shrugs* That's just me, but if she ever has kids, I'll pity them... while being envious of their large fortune blaugh

sorry i hold by my facts (I know someone that met her once,he talked to her for about 3 minutes[IE: she talked he stood there] and then had to leave before he hurt someone I have other friends that witnessed this happening)

Ahahahahaha Paris... Hah. Each to their own. I dont know how anyone can have illusions about her. She seems so shallow that she must never have to act fake... that just who she is.

I think Paris is just a normal girl, complicated yet fun.
I think her haughty hollywood bitchiness is just an act for TV and to amuse 14-year-old MTV preps really. Besides it's kind of amusing.
She was just caught with a DUI like every other celebrity so really there's nothing glamarous or special about her. But that's why I like her. She's a real person of course, despite trying to be fake. She fakes at faking really well, heh.
So I think if ppl look deeper they'll see a real nice girl that just likes to have fun not some stuck-up slutty b***h. It's the sleazy misognistic hollywood agents fault for portraying her that way, not Paris'.
(btw I wish in World of Warcraft you could cure stuns easier but ugh you usually just have to bear with them. They don't last very long though. Banish is what kills you...it lasts a really long time, but you can't be attacked either.)

I've played many RPGs, we're talking about how I own like 30 games... I'm not a loser >.< LoL anyways, but I'm only played two games where status effects were useless. FF8 and Disgaea 2. In FF8 it was good for junctioning so you put enemies asleep when you attack them. In Disgaea 2 your female shinobi can put an entire group to sleep, which is VERY useless since they don't wake up for 3 turns and it always works ^.^ But yeah, in most games it's just a hassle for the player.
Yes, this has nothing to do with Paris Hilton... Yes, I shall be going to bed now. I have school in the morning, and I need to be perfectly healthy, especially since I've been very sick lately and missed school Thurs. and Fri.... Guess which student my teachers don't love blaugh Oh well, they can suck it up, just like I'm sucking it up and doing all their damned make-up homework... (I'm going to have a 5 second b***h now.) My friggen english teacher's making my D.O.L. test twice as hard because I was sick and missed the origional one. Grrr! (I'm done now ^^) G'night!

Status effects need to be balanced, they should always be useful... (like what's the point of poisoning an enemy when damaging him would just be quicker in the long run and when it really matters, most bosses are immune to poison anyway)
...but they shouldn't like be super overpowered either. It can be really cheap sometimes, in games that require a little thought (unfortunately most games fall into this category). I like more strategy-based RPGs too it's just...THEY'RE TOO SLOW. I would like final fantasy tactics a lot better if the battle were more fast-paced. It seems like they take foreeeever to perform their actions.
Final Fantasy X-2...I kinda like what they did with the status effects. They're useful in certain encounters...like some enemies it really is easier just to petrify them and then remove them for battle, but it's not like every fight or anything. The status effect that's the most overpowered (on the enemy side) is probably Eject though. Talk about a cheap move, reducing your three party members down to one!
