The Hunters Roster

This is the official roster for members of the Hunters group and Hunter allies. Anybody not on this roster will not be considered to be an active Hunter.

Your leaders for the Hunters group are William Jackson (Zin Okami), Sethe "Krii'Ouse" Teslae (Illiud), and Tokeru (Hokaru Moneru). Go to one of them for questions or command decisions in or out of roleplaying.

** New Hunters**

Creating a New Hunter Character


Below is an example and basic explanation of a character profile to help you create your new Hunter character.

Name: (What it sounds like, this is your character's given name.)

Aliases/ Nicknames: (Any aliases or nicknames your Hunter is also known by.)

Race: (What race are you? This will be explained later on in another post.)

Age: (How old is your Hunter?)

Eyes: (What's their eye color?)

Hair: (What's their hair color?)

Height: (How tall are they?)

Weight: (How much do they weigh?)

Physical Description: (Tell us what they look like. Are they skinny, muscular, lean, solidly built, stocky, willowy? Do they have any scars, earrings, tattoos, or other distinguishing characteristics?)

Hunter Type: (What type of Hunter are you? This will be explained later.)

Weapons: (What weapons do you use? Give us a detailed description of all the weapons that your character owns and normally uses.)

Special Accessories: (Does your hunter wear any special jewelry, have special armor, or carries an unusual or useful item with them?)

Clothing: (How is your Hunter usually dressed? Focus on describing the outfit they normally wear when they're out hunting, including any armor. You can also describe one or two casual outfits they own if you like.)

Skills: (What skills does your Hunter have? Are they a martial artist, a marksman, a good actor, a strategist, a medic, a skilled swordsman, or do they have other skills?)

Abilities: (What sort of innate abilities and talents does your Hunter possess? Are they athletic, very fast, strong, are they smart, do they have a sixth sense, do they have good eyesight, or is there something else that they excel at?)

Enemy Race/What They Hunt: (What sort of supernatural creature does your Hunter specialize in dealing with? Do they hunt vampires, demons, lycanthropes, a couple of different races, or do they hunt all three supernatural races?)

Personality: (What is your Hunter like? Are they funny, serious, shy, brave, depressed, psychotic, or something else? Are they a team player, a leader, a follower, a loner, a class clown, a ladies man/boy's girl, or is there another way that they act?)

Biography/History: (What is your Hunters background? Where are they from, where did they live, do they have family, do they have any friends? What did they want to be when they grew up, what sports did they like, what hobbies did they do, where did they go to school? Most importantly of all, how did they find out about vampires, werewolves, demons, and the like, and why did they decide to become a Hunter?

Well, that's the basis for creating a Hunter character. If there's anything that you'd like to add, feel free to do so.

Hunter Races and Types

This is a quick overview of the different races that Hunters can be and the different Hunter types. These lists can also be found in the Hunter FAQ.




Races

An Explanation of the Different Races That Hunters Can Be

There are currently four different races that Hunters can be; human, vampire, lycanthrope, or altered human.

Human- This is the default choice for Hunters. Most Hunters are human, since humans are the ones most threatened by vampires, werewolves, and demons. They are not as psychically strong as any of the other races, and have no special powers. But they make up for these lacks with intelligence and skill. They are usually better at using weapons than any of the other races, and have the intelligence needed to exploit the weaknesses of their enemies.

Vampires- The living dead, vampires gave up their mortal life long ago, or possibly they had it forcefully taken from them. Vampires usually prey on humans, but for some reason or another a few occasionally will side with humanity to fight against their brethren. Since this is an unusual occurrence, you must make sure that your vampire character has a good reason for being a Hunter; perhaps they were banished or otherwise made an outcast from their own kind, or something else entirely. Vampires are physically tougher, faster, and stronger than normal humans, but they are highly vulnerable to fire and can't go out into sunlight.

Lycanthropes- Lycanthropes, or werewolves, are a humanoid race that can change into beasts. Like vampires, they normally view humans as either enemies or prey, but some also side with the humans. Once again, a lycan character must have a good reason for why they are a Hunter. Lycans are strong and tough, they have highly improved senses, and their inner beast gives them a ferocious fighting ability. But they are burned by the touch of silver, and silver nitrate bullets are very deadly to them. Not only that, but they must fight to maintain control of their animal instincts.

Altered Humans- This is a very broad group. Altered humans are mutants, cyborgs, ESPers, a human being merged with something, the result of medical experiments, or something else entirely. They are separated from normal humans by the fact that they have special powers or are physically different from normal humans. If you're playing as an altered human, be sure to state what powers or special abilities they have. As Hunter moderator, I have the final say on whether or not your altered human is acceptable.

Hunter Types

An Explanation of the Different Types of Hunters

Each Hunter has their own type. This determines what sort of Hunters they are, how they behave, how they hunt, how they work in a group, and so on. There are six different types of hunters; martyrs, hunters, slayers, casters, guardians, and zealots.

Martyrs- Martyrs are the hunters that are willing to do crazy and dumb things to kill off whatever they hunt. Being a Martyr is almost suicide, most don't live long at all. They will hunt with whoever is willing to go with them.


Hunters- These Hunters aren't always Hunters, they have a life outside of killing. They normally just kill for revenge. They either hunt alone or with two or three people normally.

Slayers- A Slayer's whole life is about killing. They are born warriors, adrenaline junkies, and thrill seekers, addicted to the fierce joy they get from fighting in life and death battles. They normally go after vampires but can go after lycans and demons as well. They usually make sure that they have at least somebody to back them up, and hunt in groups of about two to as many as fifteen people.

Guardians- Guardians are like the Hunter version of a cop. They aren't out to kill members of other races, they just want to keep other people out of danger and keep the peace. These are Hunters with a strong sense of duty and a knowledge of right and wrong. They will seek to resolve conflict with other races peacefully or will incapacitate a member of another race, but sometimes they just have no choice but to kill. Usually work in groups of two, sometimes in larger groups with as many as six or eight Hunters.

Zealots- Usually former clergy or other highly religious people, Zealots are motivated by religious fervor. They honestly believe that the other races are evil beings sent by the Devil, and feel that it is their calling to cull such vile infestations from the Earth. They are fearless, believing that if they die they will be rewarded in the afterlife, but they won't take insane risks like a Martyr will. Because of their beliefs they are often intolerant of non-human Hunters, but won't kill them since the non-human Hunters are obviously trying to "atone for their sins". Zealots work either alone or in a group of up to three to five, and aren't afraid to work with Martyrs.

Hunter NPC List

This is a list of Hunter NPC's (non-player characters). Players may interact with these NPC's however they wish to. As NPC's die, get old, or need to be replaced, this list will be updated with new Hunter NPC's.





"Hunter" Wilson (bar/nightclub owner)- "Hunter" Wilson is an old, retired Hunter who is about 50 years old. After he retired from hunting, he built a bar and nightclub called "Hunter's". Opening his doors to the new generation of Hunters, Wilson allowed for a new Hunter safehouse to be built in the abandoned and forgotten fallout shelter underneath his popular establishment. He's a bit gruff, but he's always happy to give Hunters advice or a free drink as they pass through or relax at his place of business.


Dr. Gail Hunter (medic, doctor)- 33 years old, Dr. Hunter is a fairly attractive woman with a clever and open mind. Years ago she performed an autopsy of a decapitated cadaver with "unusually hyper-extended cainines"; a vampire. Intrigued by the unusual skeletal system, she went digging for answers to her questions, and in the process she stubled across the Hunters path. Now she willingly serves in the new Haven as the medic and doctor for the local Hunters.


"Cookie" (cook, confidant)- An old friend of "Hunter" Wilson's, "Cookie" got his nickname because he was working as a short order chef while going to school for a degree in counseling and psychology. When Wilson told him the truth about vampires, lycans, and the like when he offered "Cookie" a job working as the cook for the Hunters, he believed his friend willingly and accepted the offered job. A tall, broad shouldered, and muscular African American man in his late forties, "Cookie" is friendly, helpful, and a great listener. Not only does he keep the Hunters fed while they're staying at the Haven, but he's always there to listen to them talk about their troubles and is an excellent confidant.


"Uncle" (mage, researcher)- A very old Chinese man who was trained as a mage, "Uncle" as he is jokingly called by the Hunters is more knowledgable than almost anyone else alive in matters pertaining to the arcane and supernetural. He has a vast library of ancient texts, which he usually turns to to learn about various spells, vampires, lycanthropes, and demons. His commonly heard phrase, "we must do research", has earned him the nickname of "Uncle" from the younger Hunters after the character in the animated Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon. Naturally, the old fashioned elderly man does not find this amusing. He is grumpy, cantankerous, tempermental, and very traditional. His warding spells help to keep demons away from Hunter's bar and nightclub, and the Hunter Haven underneath it.


Ricardo Alverez (gunsmith)- A 35 year old Hispanic gunsmith and firearms enthusiast, Ricardo was easily convinced to come work for the Hunters in the Haven. All they had to promise him was the opprotunity to work with powerful, customized, experimental, and illegal firearms. Ricardo is a true artisan, repairing the Hunters' guns so that they work better than they ever did before, and creating customized marvels of modern firearms technology. However seeing him stroke and talk soothingly to the guns he works on, and his maniacal laughter when he's blowing a target to bits on the shooting range has been known to freak out more than one Hunter.


Marcus Smith (weapon and armor smith, tailor)- Responsible for forging most of the melee and archaic weapons used by the local Hunters, this 42 year old native of London is stoic, serious, and has a completely no-nonsense attitude. He was once saved froma vampire by the current leader of the Hunters in New York City, William Jackson. In gratitude, he came to work for him as a weapon and armor smith. He also is an accomplished tailor, and makes and repairs most of the clothes that the Hunters use in their activities.


"Ace" (guard, bouncer)- A cocky, brash young Hunter, "Ace" serves as a guard for the Haven, and as a bouncer for Hunter's. He is a skilled, highly confident street fighter, and eager to get into a fist fight.


"Queenie" (guard, bouncer)- The other bouncer for Hunter's, "Queenie" is refined, dignified, and a little snooty. She's not actually a Hunter, but does know about them and know about fighting supernatural enemies. She might be small and petite, but is skilled at judo and can easily throw people many times her size and weight.


Jack (guard)- An average guy, Jack is another of the young, inexperienced Hunters who serve as guards for Haven.


"Deuce" (guard)- Another member of the Hunters who stay at and guard Haven.


"Joker" (incognito perimeter guard)- "Joker" is a jester, a funny man, a clown. He is also quite possibly the best of the people who guard Haven and Hunter's against attack. Dressed casually with no noticable weapons on him, he walks around Hunters on a regular basis, patrolling against any attacks by the vampires, lycans, or demons.


Daichi "Dance Master" Jameson (DJ, Hunter)- A 23 year old Japanese American, Daichi's mother was Japanese and his father was an American Hunter and a friend of "Hunter" Wilson's. When his parents died six years ago in a car accident, Wilson took Daichi in and gave him a roof over his head. Since Daichi had a great talent for music, Hunter gave him a job as the nightclub's DJ. From his DJ's booth, Daichi controls most of the interior defenses for Hunter's, and like most of those who work at Hunter's and Haven he lives in Haven.


Father Michaels (priest)- Father Michaels is a middle aged man who grew up as a devout Catholic, serving as an altar boy and a member of the choir before going to seminary to become a priest. He has served the church faithfully for his entire adult life, and has a friendly, compassionate demeanor about him that grants his flock great comfort. He learned the truth about the supernatural darkness in the world two years ago, when he was called to perform an exorcism. Unfortunately it was a true possession, deeply rooted, and the normal methods weren't working. In his research looking for a means to drive the demon out, he was informed by his superiors about the existence of vampires and lycans, and of the fact that there were hunters out there that combated the darkness. He sought out and joined the Hunters, serving as their spiritual advisor and provider of holy water and blessed objects.


Stephanie Lynch (mechanic, driver)- A young woman born and bred in the rural areas of southern Misissippi, Stephanie grew up working in her father's garage, servicing everything from cars and motorcycles to farming equipment and crop dusting planes. In school, she excelled at shop, metal shop, welding, and auto shop, showing a real flair for vehicle repair and customization. She also started taking part in motocross races and street races, becoming an accomplished stunt driver and daredevil. After she graduated, she was offered a job in a New York garage, but it turned out to be a chop shop so she left. Stuck in New York without a job or place to live, she was desperate for work. When Hunter found her while looking for a new mechanic, she leapt at the opprotunity and thus became a part of the New York Hunters Group.


Russell Whitfield (guard)- Former Army Ranger, Russell served in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqui Freedom before being discharged by the military. Still in his early thirties and looking for work suited to his particular skills, he listed himself as a mercenary and was hired by William Jackson to replace some of the Haven guards that they'd lost during the Lunite attack. He exemplifies the best qualities of a soldier, holding true to the values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.

Roxanne Wallace (guard, martial arts instructor)- Roxanne is a skilled and renowned martial artist with several championships under her belt. She is a second dan in Shokodan karate, judo, akido, and jijitsu with a vast knowledge of other martial art disciplines including kickboxing, kendo, staff fighting, ninjitsu, Shaolin kung-fu, and the highly effective Krav Maga style used by the Israeli special forces. She was also hired by the Hunters to replace some of the guards lost during the conflict with the Lunites, and also serves as a martial arts instructor, teaching the Hunters better forms of unarmed combat and self defense.


Adam Swift (guard)- Adam worked in a Wild West show, doing tricks with revolvers and other handguns. He's an excellent gunslinger, and seems to model himself after the famous gunslingers of the Old West such as Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, and Wild Bill. Usually he's aloof and broody, keeping himself seperate from other and adapting a dark persona. Like some of the other new addittions to the Haven staff, he's been hired to replace the guards killed during the fighting with the Lunite cult, and he does his work well.


Yoriko Obato (infiltrator, spy)- An industrial espionage agent from Japan, Yoriko has quite the reputation as an accomplished cat burgular and sneak thief. Many believe that she was born and raised in one of the hidden ninja villages rumored to still exist in the hills of Japan. It is also said that there is no building she can't sneak into, no safe she can't crack, and no security system she can't slip past. Unfortunately for her she was caught on camera during her last heist, forcing her to flee to the United States where she joined the Hunters in exchange for sanctuary and a steady pay check. She provides information by infiltrating enemy buildings and encampments, giving the Hunters intel that they couldn't get otherwise.


Morris "Moondog" Greenberg (guard, head of security)- "Moondog" is a former biker who got into the protection business, acting as a bodyguard for those who need one and could afford his services. As such he is an expert in all aspects of security and is knowledgable in the design, installation, maintainence, repair, and use of security systems. He is a large, tough, and physically intimidating man and is very stoic and serious. He was contracted to rebuild the security systems for Haven, and has been kept on as a guard and the new head of security for the Hunters base. Furthermore, as a former bodyguard, he is very protective of his employers, "Hunter" Wilson and William Jackson.


Roberta Cain (researcher, scientist)- Roberta is a former field scientist, highly knowledgable about biology, the physical sciences, and chemistry. During her research, she encountered the supernatural and was laughed out of the scientific community for her findings. Now she seeks to prove the existence of supernatural creatures using scientific methods, locating and joining the Hunters in order to pursue her studies. She refuses to believe that vampires, lycans and such are truly supernatural in nature, and is constantly searching for a scientific explanation for their existence. She helps the Hunters by providing scientific research and mixing chemical compounds.


Brandon Cross (engineer, technician, computer programmer)- Brandon is barely out of his teens but is already a technological genius. He can hack any computer system, construct any sort of mechanical device, or handle any sort of technology; he once built a fully functional robot using only a toaster, an electric pencil sharpener, an acid battery, and a belt sander. He was recruited straight out of college by "Hunter" Wilson and now serves the Hunters as their mechanical engineer, technician, and computer programmer/hacker.


Elliot Klein (field medic)- Elliot is an EMT and former search and rescue medic who was a friend of Dr. Gail Hunter's back in medical school. He joined the Hunters by Gail's request after she realized the need for addittional medics in Haven, as well as the nescessity for someone who could provide medical aid out in the field. He's the one out on the front lines, patching the Hunters up when they get injured.

Hair: White, down to meeting of upper and lower back, usually pulled in ponytail.

Physical Description:
--Human: Sethe, or as he prefers: Krii'Ouse, is quite lanky. His physical strength lies in his legs. He has a scar across his right cheek extending from his jaw, up to his eye, and then crossing over his eye, and journeying a good inch before stopping. On his back is a symbol of his abilities, an eye with a black eyelid and pupil. He has taken this as his own insignia. He bears another tattoo down his whole right arm. It resembles the Celtic designs, with no apparent starting point, and no apparent ending point. The tattoo covers his whole arm, shoulder to knuckles, and inner arm to outer arm. It reaches across his torso to the centre of his chest and back, and up his neck to his face, covering much of the right half of his face. Even the palm has the tattoo on it. On his chest, on his left pectoral muscle, the insignia of the guild rests. His body is marred and scarred from the tortures of the daemons. Upon his left deltoid he bears a crescent moon branding, from the Lunite War incident.
--Lycanthrope: Sethe morphs into Esou, his wolven self. As Esou, his fur is white, and very smooth. His scar remains over his eye, and his tattoos colour the fur they are covered by. So, one can see his tattoos even as a Lycan. His earrings stay in his ears, and he can't exactly control his size. So, sometimes he will morph large, other times he will morph into a more humanoid height. The brand on his left deltoid is very obvious, as no fur grows from that area.

-Daemon Slaying Samurai Daisho: (A blessed daisho, made solely for slaying Tainted. An holy aura surrounds the blades, very strongly.)

--Black red iron bladed wakizashi, emerald in pommel, jade laced steel hilt, and black leather wrap on grip.
-Lycan Slaying Samurai Daisho: (A silver bladed daisho, made solely for slaying Lycanthropes. The blades shimmer in the moonlight.)
--Silver bladed katana, emerald in pommel, jade laced steel hilt, and black leather wrap on grip.
--Silver bladed wakizashi, emerald in pommel, jade laced steel hilt, and black leather wrap on grip.
-Daywalker Slaying Samurai Daisho: (A daisho with runes that will burn any enemy they touch, made primarily for slaying Daywalking Vampires. A faint reddish flaming aura glows around the blades.)
--Runed obsidian bladed katana, emerald in pommel, obsidian hilt, and black leather wrap on grip.
--Runed obsidian bladed wakizashi, emerald in pommel, obsidian hilt, and black leather wrap on grip.

Special Accessories: Necklace with un-cut onyx, necklace with pure pearl, necklace with his insignia on it. Jade rings on each finger. Golden earrings: two in lobe of both ears, one in cartilage of both ears.

Clothing: Usually wears black clothing. Sethe rarely wears a shirt, but when he does, the left sleeve is ripped off, and his right sleeve is very baggy.

Casual: He wears baggy breeches, and a pair of leather strapped boots, with three belts on each boot, and a sheathe for his knives in the sides. He is seen with a cowl that tightens around his mouth with a tie in the front. His hair flows with the wind, no matter whether its pony tailed or not. He wears a leather street glove on his right hand, with a leather bracer. He also wears black sunglasses.

Hunting: Same as above, only Sethe has cold iron armoured plates strapped to his limbs, and a cold iron breastplate upon his chest and back. The armour resembles a ninja's armour(think of the armour of the League of Shadows ninja in Batman Begins).

Skills: Sethe is skilled in the ways of tracking, the art of stealth and subterfuge, and is a brilliant engineer. He has learned through experience how to be a skilled leader. He is skilled in the ways of ninjutsu, and incorporates his own kinetics into an art-form he's forming called 'kijutsu.' He is well trained with katana and wakizashi, and throwing weapons, as well.

Enemy Race: Daemons

Personality: Sethe, who prefers the name Krii'Ouse, has a charlatan attitude about him. He can't help it, honestly! It seems like somehow, he can always attract someone to like him very quickly, and if he doesn't, he doesn't care; he'll come back the next night. He is very honourable, and honest. His reputation for honesty has gotten him far in life. He can't help but be honest with people, since their thoughts just jump out into his head, he knows what they are thinking about him, so he gets straight and blunt with those that don't like him. Otherwise he is very pleasant and amiable. His humble nature lets him know that he needs help from other hunters, so he doesn't go out into the fray and die.

Biography/History: Krii'Ouse discovered his ability at age fifteen. He was walking in the park when the thoughts of those around him came flooding into his mind. He quickly recovered from the minor concussion he took immediately, and continued his walk, swiftly learning to tune it out, unless he wanted to hear the thoughts. His telekinesis kicked not long after. At home that same day, he reached for his Coke, which flew to his hand carefully, without him having to get up. Two weeks later, as he was lighting a candle during a blackout, the flame shot up and nearly singed his hair. During that same blackout, the weather was very active, so he went outside, just because he was a crazy lad. Lightning struck very close to him, and the next strike hit him. Instead of being electrocuted, though, the electricity current flowed to his hand, forming a ball of electric energy. Upon the so-called 'completion' of the culmination of his powers, His hair suddenly turned pure white, and his eyes went white as well, though his sight more than improved.

A month later, those who dwell in the underworld took notice of his extra-ordinary mental powers. They haunted him for a year, causing him to be sent to a mental institute. There he stayed, being tortured by the daemons in his mind. They seemed to be in control of the mental institute. Months later, he broke free, and found himself wandering New York one late night, when suddenly he was grabbed by the daemons. He was taken to a tall building, and the daemons tortured him physically, claiming he was the source of trouble for their lord; Astaroth, Lord of Vanity.

William 'Night Hunter' Jackson saved him from his plight a few years later. He'd heard of a daemon torture house, and located it. William busted in, killed the daemons with the help of a number of Hunters, and found Krii'Ouse there. Krii'Ouse formed a friendship that night, and joined the Hunter's guild of New York. He has lived in Haven ever since, working on the generators, bending the energies when needed to prevent a failure. He has stopped many a malfunction in the generator room.

During the Lunite War incident, at the first attack on the Lunite base, Krii'Ouse had somehow stranded himself in centre of a large mass of Lunites. He fought a Beta, and took a beating. William was searching for him, and Krii'Ouse commed William to blow the warehouse up. He was sent out a window, severley injured, and the Beta bit him, turned him around, and lifted him up. The Beta then branded Krii'Ouse on his left deltoid with a cresent moon.

It has been some time since he'd beomce a Lycan, and Tyler Knight became his good friend and mentor. Time passed, and Hunts came and passed, Krii'Ouse eventually contracted the disease that had been widespread across New York, along with his lover, Skiaska. As the virus worsened, a cure was eventually found.

It took a while, but Sethe and Skiaska got cured. Things started to look up for the Hunter ninja. Skiaska and Sethe weren't able to see eachother very often, and Sethe began to grow distant, his mind now becoming split between two women. Skiaska Sperraw, and Kerrigan Taylor. After speaking with Kerrigan, and finally announcing to her his true feelings, Skiaska saw the two kissing in Kerrigan's apartment.

This did not bode well. Skiaska then left New York, and Kerrigan and Sethe persued their love interest.

After Lydia got hit by the Shadow Stalker Kaji, Krii'Ouse lost it minorly, his feral side demanding immediate retrubution, while Will counselled a magistrate decision. Esou saw this as a weakness in his Alpha's authority, and Krii'Ouse challenged the Hunter Leader for his position.

It was a bloody battle, Krii'Ouse morphed into Esou, and went very primal on William. Will, however, had his own ace. The Angel of Death. Two superbeings battled it out in the Haven Training room, and finally Esou was bested, while Will fought the Angel for control of his own body, once more, just inches from slaying the Lycan.

Sethe awoke and apologised for his weakness of will, and admitted to Will that he truly was the Alpha, and the Omega. Will lifted Sethe, promoting the ninja to the rank of Omega Hunter, instead.

Shortly after, Sethe held a ceremony for his promotion in Master 'Uncle' Yoshiro's ritual room. The Alpha and Omega chose Krii'Ouse as it's wielder, branding Krii'Ouse's left hand with the Greek letter 'Omega.' The True Omega Hunter now, Krii'Ouse was ready for action.

But first... he left Hunter's to a small jewelry store. Shortly afterwards, he took Kerrigan out to dinner. In their room, he demanded she dress nicely. She was confused, but listened. They went to Benni's restaurant, expensive, yes.

It was there that Krii'Ouse proposed to Kerrigan Taylor. It was there that she accepted. Now they needed a date.

Kerrigan began developing a split personality, and when the vampires of the New York Coven learned how to walk the day, Kerrigan went to find out how. She became a daywalker, and as a result of being twice as active, she was twice as thirsty. The split personality began developing more and more, and she nearly lost her mind to it completely if it weren't for Krii'Ouse saving her. He caught her about to kill a woman in an alley, grabbed her, and took her to Yoshiro. Uncle was able to rip the split personality from her mind, and saved Kerrigan.

The fight with the daywalkers lasted a while, and finally a final showdown occurred on the docks. Krii'Ouse engaged into battle with the vampire elders, and went from one to the other. More or less, the target he chose got away from him as another distracted him, and it repeated a few times. in the end, he pushed himself too far, and ended up unconscious. The Hunters thought they'd grabbed him and taken him to Haven, but he suddenly went missing...

Alpha and Omega- A centuries old polearm with blades on either end, this precious and powerful artifact is only allowed to be used by the greatest Hunters of them all, the one who achieves the Omega Class Rank and serves as the Hunters champion. One blade is made of the purest silver and is imbued with the essence of an angelic being, the other blade is made of black iron and contains the trapped spirit of a powerful but subdued demon. The Alpha and Omega is one of the most heavily enchanted and potent magical weapons to be created in the last millenium, with various runes and blessings etched into the metal and lined with gold. Due to the various magics coursing through it and the fact that diamonds were ground into a fine powder and smelted over it, the polearm has a diamond like hardness and is practically invulnerable to damage of any kind. Finally, every few decades the blade is secretly taken to Rome where it is blessed by the Pope himself, renewing and strengthing the holy energies within it while keeping the demonic power subdued. To wield this weapon is the highest honor a Hunter can possibly achieve.

Clothing: He almost always wears leather combat boots, leather fighting gloves, black jeans with sewn in kevlar knee pads and shin guards, a black turtleneck shirt with padding and a layer of kevlar underneath it, and a black trenchcoat made of heavy kevlar with ceramic plates sewn in around vital areas.

Skills: A master of melee and close quarters combat particularly with an ax, good at acting and bluffing, knows how to set up a good trap, has a good grasp of basic tactics and strategy, skilled with blades and garrotes, and he is an accomplished street fighter (he makes whatever money he needs by participating in underground street fights and illegal cage matches).

Abilities: He's strong, fast, tough, and very cunning. After a near death experience, he developed powers which allow him to make his eyes glow with a supernatural light, empower his voice with what seems to be the equivalent of a compulsion spell, speeds his healing, energizes his body with increased speed and strength, and lets him fire off energy blasts from his hands. The downside to his powers are that he becomes easily exhausted from using them, and a common theory is that if he uses them too much that they'll kill him. However as he uses his powers, they seem to have fewer limits on them, allowing him to use them in whatever manner he can imagine, making them a valuable resource despite the high risk involved with their use.

Enemy Race/What He Hunts: Specializes in killing vampires, but has experience dealing with lycans as well. Has only limited experience with demons. Has recently developed a more pacifistic view, working towards co-existance with the other races and only killing those members of other races that are totally out of control.

Personality: He is calm, friendly, serious, and eager for action. He has become an adrenaline junkie, thrilling at the rush he can get only from a life and death fight. He takes his job as leader very seriously, and has little problem giving orders to other Hunters. But underneath his bravado he genuinely cares about all of his Hunters and is constantly afraid of them getting hurt. He is also a deeply religious person, taking comfort and strength from his beliefs during hard times. He has adapted the persona of a peacemaker, trying to get everyone to sort things out through words before violence erupts, assuming that it's even possible to do so. Ever since his near death experience, he has become much more calm and contemplative, although his hair trigger temper remains despite his new found serenity. Once someone or something succeeds in making him truly angry, usually by harming someone he cares about, he'll go to any lengths to make them pay swiftly and painfully, acting as a furious and unrelenting force of vengance.

Biography/History: An average general education student at the local community college, William learned of the existence of non-human creatures when he was nineteen, seeing a vampire feeding on a fellow student from his college. Dropping out from school, he devoted himself entirely to the cause of fighting the eternal war against supernatural beings. He trained in various martial arts like karate, kick boxing, and judo, and keeps his skills sharp and refined by taking part in illegal street fights. Over the past seven years he's become quite proficient at his chosen trade, and is only good at fighting anymore. Four years ago he came to New York and made it his new home. He was made the leader of the New York Hunters after the last one was killed, a role which he has quickly gotten comfortable with. Vampires he hunts down without mercy, lycans he lets go if they're smart enough to stay out of his way, and demons he tries to avoid since they're too unpredictable and he has little experience with them.

He has a closely knit circle of close friends amongst his Hunters, who would die for him and for whom he would gladly put his life on the line; members of this group include Hunter, Cookie, Gail, Len, Kerrigan, and Krii'Ouse. Other Hunters he has become a father figure or big brother to, such as Skiaska. And for some of the non-human Hunters such as Tyler, Will is seen as the "pack leader", a position to be treated with the utmost of honor and respect. Recently his younger sister Edith, who goes by the Hunter name of Eden, joined the Hunters and was quickly thrust into the midst of the group dynamics. There have been romantic developments between Will and several of the female Hunters, although the only one that turned out to be at all serious was his whirlwind relationship with Lydia. Later Will learned that Lydia was pregnant with his child, leading him to confess his feelings to her and strengthening their relationship. They are now married and raising their daughter, Aurora, together.

During the war with the Lunite cult, he was very nearly destroyed by his grief over the loss of Charles and Krii'Ouse's infection with lycanthropy. Fortunately he recovered with the help of his friends in time to rally the defenses of Haven when they were attacked by the Lunites, where he was able to find the strength to spare and help a pair of Lunite teenagers who'd been part of the assault which claimed the lives of three of his guards. Shortly after that attack, he was shot by an assassin, nearly dying and being confined for some time to a hospital bed in Haven. He's up on his feet again and at a hundred percent of his physical ability, although it's likely that he'll have a slight limp for the rest of his life.

He was greatly changed by his near death experience, changing his status to a Altered Human and gaining numerous powers that seem to be somewhat divine in origin. What the limits of these powers are not even he knows even though he's been secretly training himself in their use, keeping them as a secret weapon meant to be used mostly as a weapon of last resort. The powers seem unlimited in their sheer diversity and raw power, but the price is that if he uses too much of the power at once then it will kill him. He also seems to have a split personality that is directly tied into his powers, named "Death". If he uses too much power and loses control over himself, then Death takes over and goes on a bloody rampage of slaugher.

Physical Description: Lydia is rather slim, which lends her a graceful characteristic, moving or still. She has a tattoo on her upper right arm that reads X13 in bold red letters. Her hair falls to about mid back and her eyes always seem to be half closed.

Hunter Type: Guardian

Weapons: She does not have many physical weapons, using mostly her powers. When she does need to use a weapon, she has a small handgun that is rather ordinary that shoots bullets with explosive rounds.

Special Accessories: She has a choker with a cross on it that helps to keep her powers from running amok as she is still trying to fully master them.

Clothing: She wears a black, sleeveless shirt with a pair of worn, but servicible, black jeans. Her biker's glvoes are also worn, but her shoes are new in comparison, and are red to add a bit of contrast. She wears a white belt on which she has her gun holster. This is both her casual and hunter outfit.

Skills: She is very good at camoflouge and generally being unnoticed.

Abilities: She is a telekenetic with some pyrokenetic and telepathic abilities. Despite her telekenisis, she is also quite athletic and has above average intelligence.

Enemy Race/What They Hunt: Tainted, Lycans, and Vampires

Personality: She is rather quiet, only speaking when she feels she has to. She prefers to work alone, but is adaptable and will work with others if need be. She knows little about the real world and how to deal with all the situations that she finds herself in, often causing her to appear very child-like, esspecially when she is asking questions about what is going on. Her favorite person to ask these questions of is William, at first because people kept telling her to ask him and now because they are married.

Biography/History: She was put into a medical program when she was very small, it was later revealed that she had been in the program since birth, and given the designation X13. She was then medically, and possibly genetically, altered to be an ESPer, specificly to fight Lycans, Tainted, and Vampires. The lab where she was kept taught her everything she might need to know as an ESPer hunter, but failed to teach her anything else. When she she turned 21, she was set out into the world to protect the unknowing masses of humanity from the night walkers, thought she still is grasping some parts of her power and the world around her. To this day she has no idea of where or who her family is, and took the name Lydia Aidly when she was let loose into the world.

Her recent adventures in New York City have revealed some startling facts about this quiet and unique huntress, one of them being that she lost something in her mind when her good friend, X26, died because she was in his mind at the time. Whether or not more of her time in the Labcoats hands will be revealed remains to be seen. During the Lunite war, she was bitten by a lycan and adminstered the vaccine to herself and survived while remaining human. She does not know of anyone else who has done this. On a lighter note, Lydia seems to be developing feelings for the Hunter leader William, but because of several factors (one of them being the fact that she thinks she is "broken"), she refuses to accept this fact. However, in a recent runin with Rogue, the vampire implanted a dream into Lydia's mind which seems to have heigntened her feelings for the Hunter leader.

As of right now, the situation between Lydia and William is uncertain, but there seems to be the start of some sort of romantic relationship between the two. Their relationship has become even more uncertain since it has become known that Lydia is pregnant with William's child, but it is apparent that the two of them love each other strongly and deeply. As of right now, William has proposed to Lydia, who has accepted despite the fact that she does not know what marriage is. Even despite that, Lydia and Will are now happily married and their first child, a daughter, was born on Christmas Day and has been named Aurora Jackson. A second name as not been decided on as of yet.

She also owns a black cat which she has named Mischief. Mischief has not been seen for some time, though Lydia does not seem worried about that fact. It is possible that Mischief has taken to wandering the streets of New York City for a time, possibly to gather intel to help her mistress.

Biography/History: Adolfina grew up knowing nothing about the outside world. When she got out one day and discovered how her father treated people Adolfina ran away. Adolfina joined a group of thieves and then was turn into a lycan by the leader of the group. Adolfina spent many years acting like most lycans did then one day was seen by her younger brother who was disgusted by the sight of her. Adolfina instantly realized what she had become and wanted to kill any like she use to be.
