Recently, being the little freak that I am, I starting looking up paranormal stuff... Such as ghosts and spirits and stuff. I said I was a freak.
Anyways, during my many hours reading creepy stories and viewing strange pictures, I came across the story of the Winchester Mystery House. Not only was I interested in the story of the house, but I was thrilled to find that it was built in California. I've asked my mother to take me and my friends there on Halloween for a flashlight tour.
xp If you don't know about it, it's a massive building with all sorts of oddities in the construction; a staircase to the ceiling, a door that opens to a ten-foot drops, a door that leads to nowhere, and the fact that all of the bathrooms have a window in the door. Also, thirteen is all over the house. Thirteen window panes, thirteen drain holes in the sink, and stuff like that.
Official Website,
Detailed storyNo, I'm not just sharing this because I actually felt like posting... Well, kinda. But I wanted to have a small discussion, too.
I wanted to know if you've ever been to the Winchester Mystery House, and what you did if you have been. If you haven't, then please share similar experiences or stories of other places like that in California.
