It'll start off at Taka's house (his OLD house, where Konaru still lives). Nothing special 'bouts that.
But the second setting will include a pier, a very large boat, and lots of people. And then it will move onto a boat in very purtsy water.. and.. etc. I'll update this when needed. heart

Okay. He was starting to get a tad nervous.
Taka had been sitting here, sprawled across the ground of the home's porch, and waiting. Nervously waiting. Granted, Kia wouldn't know a thing until she -found- the note.. but nonetheless, he was nervous, and worried. Extremely.
What if she didn't show? What if she didn't like the whole thing? What if-
"Enough what ifs.. " He muttered to himself as he craned his neck up to see if there was any sign of anyone coming. Perhaps some sound of moving feet..
But no luck. Silence, aside from his breath, which was pretty loud right about now.
He felt a bit comforted that Tie was in the hands of someone he knew and trusted, but he couldn't get any comfort thinking about the girl he was praying would show up, and approve. Or at least talk to him long enough to let him take her where he was planning.
He just had an odd feeling she wouldn't. But he was really hoping he was wrong..

A much more cheerful and peaceful Kia finally came home, expecting to see a Taka she could jump and nibble on. She'd spent ages listening to Neith rant about how bad he was, and even felt twice as angry when she saw the bruise Taka had left. (Whilst feeling slightly proud that Taka was so strong...) But apparently Neith's ranting seemed to do enough for Kia, and she forgave Taka pretty quickly.
After all. It wasn't exactly normal for someone to change genders. Kia hadn't had a very good reaction at first either, it had involved much throwing and glaring. She'd recognised Neith from the start, the bond between them giving Kia the 'I know this person...' feeling that she'd ignored for a few minutes while she let out her shock on the house.
"Taka? Tie?" Kia called, as she tugged her hair out of her pony tail, and the jacket off. The house was pretty noiseless, which wasn't always unusual. Taka's room was soundproofed, and Tiegan was never really as vocal as other girls her age. But the lights were also switched off all over the place. Kia was unsure of what or where they were... Taka wasn't mad at her for being mad, was he? Or...
Kia had felt a bit like they'd drifted apart lately, and started to feel a little more guilty. She was very good at teasing him, but it was always done with love. And Tiegan had dominated their world, as well as Kia's worries about herself. She hadn't thought of anything else for a while... which was pretty selfish. Maybe Taka thought they had drifted apart, maybe he'd left like Kochi had left, with Tiegan? Kia hadn't ever thought anyone would do that, and it hadn't crossed her mind that it might happen till now. Suddenly, she was really worried and panicked. People did that, didn't they? Even if you loved them, they ran off with babies! Kia's eyes darted around for any sign of Taka, anything.
It took her a few minutes to notice the note, and when she did, she picked it up with both hesitation and eagerness. Kia started to read it slowly, feeling apprehensive about what she might read. But the words weren't what Kia was afraid they'd be, and her reading speeded up. Soon she was visibly flopping with relief, muscles going weak and floppy. Kia sat down in a nearby chair, and laughed. She couldn't help it, and when she'd managed to calm herself down, Kia gave the strange sad face that she assumed to be Taka a quick kiss. To it, although she knew it wouldn't do much good, Kia threatened, "Sillyhead! I should be mad now, you scared me!"
But she still folded the note carefully, and tucked it into her little handbag carefully. One day they'd be old, and she'd show him how bad his handwriting was when he was just over one year old.
"Okay!" Kia announced to the house, "Looks like I am going to Taka's house! Cog, are you on?"
The metallic glimmer of Cog was soon visible, from where he'd twitched in a dark corner. He was starting to act more and more human and less and less mechanical, as he'd started to realise that maybe he wasn't just a smart robot. The incident with the 'A.I.' was now something he was trying to forget, feeling a curious sensation of embarrassment when he recalled it.
"I'm not a coffee maker. And yes, I'm listening."
"Um. Sorry. Let's go to Taka's house! ...where is it?"
Cog seemed to let out a mental sigh which Kia picked up, answering, "Here?"
She'd noticed an attitude lately, but Kia never paid attention to it before. If there was more time, she would have now, but there wasn't. "...the other one."
"His mother's house, I suppose. Don't you remember where it is?"
"Um. Y... no." Kia's new hesitation was pretty obvious. She did know, really, but Kia had never outgrown her fear of the dark and night. "Show me?"
Cog hovered up, and waited for Kia to get her jacket and bag back on again. Then he led the way out of the door.
Both arrived at Taka's mother's house, Kia hovering around outside the door for a few moments. For some reason, seeing Konaru made Kia a bit nervous.
It probably had to do with what she'd said to Konaru last time...
Oh well.
Kia knocked on the door, and tugged her jacket more around herself. Maybe if Konaru couldn't see that Kia wasn't as thin and pretty as she used to be, she'd think Kia was good enough for Taka?
And Taka sitting nearby went completely unnoticed.

Taka sighed as he looked over at Tie. He thought he knew why he had wanted to come her, wanted Kia to meet him here even, but suddenly the whole thing confused him. Something deep down in his gut just...wasn't right.
As he looked back at the house as if to make it help him decide what was with this confusion feeling he was having he saw Neith. "Neith! We're over here!"
Just as Taka called over to her, Tie noticed her and clapped her hands together, blowing bubbles and trying to climb over her dada's body to get to her.
Inside the house, Pink was running all around, fixing this thing here, or that thing there. She had been on the phone all morning with doctors and the like and was in a ball of confusion herself. Just when she thought she could settle down and relax she heard a knock at the door.
"I wonder who that could be," She wondered outloud as she went to the door, swinging it open and poking her head out.
Just as Taka was about to lay back down on the grass and wait for Kia to come over to him, having the luxary of him comming to her now that she wasn't pregnant anymore he noticed something in the doorway. Actually, it was a someone and it wasn't his mom, that's for sure.

Kia brightened up at teh sound of Taka's voice, letting the blonde curls fall around her face as a way to hide how her cheeks flared up. She was embarrassed that she'd walked right past him...
Luckily, he hadn't noticed.
...wait.
He hadn't noticed.
Something had to be wrong!
Kia made her way over to Taka, and jumped on the toddler-less half in her usual pounce-hug. "Taka! I'm not angry anymore... are you okay?"

Taka, barely even noticing Kia looked right past her, focused on the stanger in his doorway. He stood up, Tie rolling off the side of him with a pout and basically shaking Kia off.
"Who the hell are you?" He asked, taking a few strides up to the front of his house.
He deffinetly hadn't learned in the way of making assumptions from his earlier encounter with ManNeith.
"I know mom hasn't been the greatest recently to us, but I swear to god if you did anything to her..." He trailed off, his complextion getting a little red with anger.
Pink, who at first was smiling at Taka and Kia slowly set her face into a frown. "Taka, I know we haven't seen each other in a while, but I swear I did nothing to your mother. Why don't you and your family come in so I can explain everything." She told them, stepping back into the house.

Huh? Now what was going on?! Kia was sure that strangers didn't usually pop out of houses like that. She picked up Tiegan, giving her a quick squeeze, a kiss on her head and a, "Look, Daddy's gotten cranky again to that nice woman."
She stood up, arranging Tie on her hip and waved from behind. Kia went towards the house without hesitation, the other hand reaching out to take Taka's hand in hers.

Taka was quick to glare at the unfamiliar woman but begrudgingly let Kia take his hand and take him into the house.
Once inside, Pink patted the sofa for them to have a seat but Taka refused.
"Just get with the explaining." He told her, tapping his foot.
"Ok..." Pink said taking a breathe and looking between Taka and Kia and the little one as she spoke. "My name is Pink. I'm a friend of your mother's. We met when you were younger Taka, even though you don't seem to remember it with the greeting you gave me." She said with a nervous laugh.
"Konaru has...well I don't know any other way to say it but she's gotten ill. Her health had been declining ever since you left, doctor's tried saying it was sparked by stress but she would have none of that talk. Just yesterday she went to a specialty clinic in her hometown. She's going to be gone for..." Pink drifted off looking around the room before sighing.
"Some time. I don't know how long but everyone has been telling me that it will be a while. She's put me in charge of everything around here and wanted me to get in touch with you and take care of you as best I could. I guess you have some keen sense showing up here."
Taka looked at her horror, sinking into the couch. "You mean to tell me...I made mom go away...I made her SICK?" He said, emphasising the last word as it could be the worst thing he could have ever done.

"You didn't make her sick!" Kia was quick to answer, sitting down next to Taka and letting Tie crawl back onto Taka's lap, where Tie prompetly started chewing on his top. "Lots of people get stress, even people who do nothing get stress. Maybe she was stressed because she had nothing to do? Yes... and then she got worried because she was bored, and then she got stressed because she was worried because she was bored?"
Tiegan didn't seem to care. Taka's top tasted really good, had he spilt something on it lately?

Taka, barely noticing his daughter slobbering up his favorite shirt, barried his head in his hands as he listened to Kia, wanting to believe the words that she was saying but finding it so hard to at the same time.
"She's right Taka." Pink said in a calming voice. "You didn't make her sick and what sparked it, well if it was stress from your family situation then you actually helped her. The doctors say it was lucky they are noticing it this early. They can save her with a lot of time now, but if something hadn't sparked it and made it come up well..." She trailed off, knowing full well they could all understand what would have come next anyways.
Taka smiled at Kia, taking one of her hands in his as if for comfort as he spoke. "So my making a family...made my mom's sickness show...but helped her. Is that what you're trying to say?"
Pink nodded. "She wanted me to tell you when I saw you that ever since she's kicked you out, secretly she's felt terrible. She's mentioned she would have never told you she felt terrible...but she has. When I was to meet up with you and tell you all of this new she wanted me to tell you that she loves you and will think about you all the time when she is getting treatment. And I bet having something like you to look forward to getting better and comming home to see will make her recovery even faster." She told him with a smile, reaching out and gently resting a hand on his shoulder.

Kia squeezed Taka's hand, and even kissed the top of it. Then she wrapped both arms around him and Tie,cuddling them from the side. "See? Your Momma will be twice as good as before, and she'll be able to come be Grandma to Tiegan even. We can send her lots of flowers, now that it is Spring, flowers and presents."
Oof... Tie didn't want to taste Daddy's shirt that much. She untangled herself from the arms, popping her head out of the top of Kia's arm and peeking around.

"Yea." Taka said. "Lots and Lots of flowers."
Pink smiled. "And I'll make sure I get them to her. I'd love to get to know you and your family more too Taka. I won't be here very much anymore, I've gotten the phone calls and the mail being directed to my home down in Port Gino. Its the only..erm...mansion there so it won't be hard to miss. You guys are welcome any time you want and I'd be happy to babysit your little one if need be too. I'm sure she'd love to play with mine." She finished with an even bigger smile.
Taka's eyes brightened. "Oh Kia! A babysitter! Then we will have lots of time for..." He trailed off winking at her.

"You have a baby too?" Kia asked, pretty happy about that. "Tiegan needs to make more friends! So taht is really good, if you really want to take care of her."
She attempted to not giggle at Taka, elbowing his side lightly. Kia never really hid anything about that, although she did feel a bit awkwed about it now. "Taka... shhh."

"Yep I do! She's very..." She thought about the best way to word it. "Furry. And she loves friends." She told Kia.
"Aww, why shh, I'm sure Pink here has done it! She has a kid after all." Taka said, tickiling Kia's sides, the worries of his mother going to the side for now, not wanting to think about it too much more for he'd rather be happy and thinking about Kia in nothing than the reality of the situation.
Pink began to blush as Taka's comment. "Kids...and to think I'm not that far off in age from them." She said, more to herself than them.
