A beautifully crafted iron fence rises high above the heads of even the tallest of Sinful Wings’ students, surrounding the castle-like school and only adding to it’s fantasy-like charm. Unlike it’s sister school, this Castle’s gates swing outward, and are kept open the day all students arrive, as well as during the weekends, when the boys are allowed off campus. In the early mornings and late at night, when the gates are being opened or closed, they let out an eerily high-pitched squeal, as though they’re protesting against something. Many times have people complained about this to the headmaster, but it always seems as though something else comes up or he just forgets to fix it.

The school itself looks as though it was pulled right out of a fairytale. The entire structure is centered around a tower that holds the library at it’s peak. The rest of the building comes up to only half the height of the tower, but seems to almost protect it, as though something precious is buried in it’s depths. A soft breeze brings with it the smell of the shimmering lake, drawing in the attention of both returning students and newcomers alike...

Mitsukai looked up at the gates of Sinful wings through long, thick strands of hair, his crimson eyes taking in the familiar structure as though he were drinking it in through his eyes. He stepped forward, his meager bag at his side, and reached out a hand, resting it upon the iron fence, as cheking to see if it were real. He was pleased to be back here, happier than he'd been in a long time. He had surprisingly missed it.

The summer before school started again had been hell. He had been back to masquerading, pretending to be someone he wasn't. He had missed the friend he had made here, the only person he had been able to open up to. Pushing these thoughts from his alread crowded mind, he stepped forward and set his first step on the school property, beginning his journey towards the large doors.

He walked with his eyes lowered, hidden behind sandy hair, one pale hand tightly around the strap to his bag, holding it in its place on his shoulder. He reached up with his other hand and tugged upon the collar of his shirt, as if it were choking him. Glancing up as he now stood directly in front of it, he was almost indimidated by the massive structure. He felt as though he were returning home. A faint smile crossed his handsome lips, and he again cast his eyes downwards, the smallest glimmer of his smile remaining, as though painted there. He shifted, scratching at his arm suddenly, uncomfortably.

“See ya next summer, Grandpapa!” Moroi said happily, closing his grandparents’ car door behind himself. Taking a few steps away from the car, and hoping that his grandfather wasn’t paying attention, his entire self vanished. Just as he reached the gates, however, he winced.

“Moroi Ikshi, what are you planning to do walking around like that?” His grandfather questioned, though there was a smile on his face. That was where Moroi had gained his mischievous side from. Both he and his grandfather enjoyed playing tricks on people using simple illusions and whatnot. Though only Moroi was a neko. Or so it appeared. The neko-jinn turned and smiled sheepishly, not really caring that his guardian wasn’t able to see it. He would be able to figure it out.

“Surprising one of my friends?” Moroi said unsurely, wondering if his relative would even believe him. His grandpa chuckled lightly at this, catching the boy off guard.

“You go and do that, then,” he said, turning his focus to starting the car. Moroi clapped to himself and smiled, turning back to the school’s gates. Violet-blue eyes shifted to the school, the boy’s entire body turning as well. It had only been a few months he’d been here last. And he was so happy to finally be coming back. His tail waved to either side behind himself as he walked up to the school, keeping his eyes peeled for a certain blonde-haired angel. At that thought, he giggled lightly to himself. It just sounded so awkward to refer to a friend as an angel. But it worked well when the boy actually was an angel.

“Oi, Mitsukai-san!” He exclaimed happily, walking up behind the boy and tapping him on the shoulder, still completely invisible. Covering his mouth, he tried to suppress his laughter before he could speak again to the older boy. Sticking his tongue out, arms now folded across his chest, he laughed lightly again. “Remember me?”

The beat up old car dropped him off in front of the school. He waved goodbye to the lady driving. "Bye bye, Ms. Jordan!" The lady behind the wheel also waved. "Good bye, dearie. See you this summer." Akuma smiled and nodded. "Maybe you'll get adopted!" She said cheerfully, then rolled up the window and drove away. Akuma picked up his stuff, and trudged through the big iron gates. I hope not...

He looked around, scouting for Johnathan. "Where is he...?" He thought aloud, and trudged on. He noticed Mitsukai, but he didn't want to talk to him. Who would? He was such a jerk. He heard Moroi's voice, but didn't see him anywhere.

He walked over to a tree, and dropped his suitcase that held all of his belongings. It was weird, but all of his stuff fit in this little case. He didn't own much at all. He sat on the case, and put his elbows on his knees and his head on his hands. His tail swished back and forth and he watched all of the other students, Mitsukai mostly.

A long, white-and-gray bus rolled down the street, stopping in front of the school. What was most likely another second year student hopped out, grinning, showing off a canine tooth, which could be called a fang due to its sharpness and shape. Adjusting his grip on the black duffle bag over one shoulder, the teen walked casually through the school gates. The joyous grin hadn't left his face, as a singular sapphire-blue eye scanned over the familiar surroundings.

Turning around, the boy with semi-tidy blonde-brown hair waved to the bus driver, who waved back once before driving off. His sandals, providing support for bandaged feet, made little to no noise on the ground as he walked, taking long confident strides. Using his spare hand to slightly adjust the strip of cloth over his left eye, he chuckled. His cheeks, with a whisker-like scar on each one, had a small pink tint to them. "Good to be back." He muttered quietly to himself, sighing peacefully.

The boy's arms, bandaged from the shoulders hidden under a gray martial arts top to his knuckles, with black glove-clad fingers, stretched, almost dropping the duffle bag in the process. Steadying his grip, the boy strolled calmly across the grounds, barely making a sound. Stopping in the shade of a large, leafy tree, he dropped the bag and sat down heavily. The same happy, somewhat goofy grin was still plastered upon his pale features, as the boy tilted his head to stare at the sky through spaces in the leaves.

When he would get up later, he would find that his white, slightly-loose karate pants had no grass stains on them. But, now, if anyone had been paying attention, they would've seen the name written in Japanese Kanji on the black duffle bag; Denkou Kuro Eien. Without a doubt, that was the name of the slightly hyperactive boy sitting on the ground.

Mitsukai heard his friend's voice, felt the tap on his shoulder, but when he turned to greet him, he failed to see him. He blinked, in surprise, his blonde hair completely obsecuring one eye. Sweeping it from his face with one pale hand to get a better view, he tilted his head ever so slightly.

"Eh?" was all he could think of to say. He looked around, again, catching sight of that brat, Akuma. He narrowed his eyes slightly, only to find the boy cast him one glance before settling below a tree. Shifting his bag, Mitsukai coughed into his fist. Damn brat.

"M-Moroi?" he said, almost timidly, fearing sounding like a complete idiot, especially in front of another boy who Mitsukai didn't know, settled under yet another tree. He always had the fear of being laughed at.

But he was terrible certain he had hear his cheerful voice. He exteneded a hand in front of him, in the direction he figured the boy would be located, his hand groping the air as if looking for something. It was a hunch. A stupid one, but the only thing he could think of.

A slight smirk touching his handsome lips, he thought jokingly, I'm going to kill him. But he really couldn't wait to see him, had missed him unbearably all summer. He had dreaded going home to an empty apartment, and spending his entire summer alone. He ended up spending a great deal of the summer at a friend's apartment, until eventually the man had moved in with him, and now continued to live alone in Mitsukai's apartment, waiting for him to return home. A very, very old friend that Mitsukai had always prefered never to see again.

Despite his meaning to, his thinking back on the summer caused a memory to surface. Just before he left...

'Mitsukai?' he said, his voice almost tender, his touch deceivingly gentle. 'School starts tomorrow?'

'H-hai, Ren-san,' Mitsukai had replied shying away from the touch. Just then, Ren had bent closer, his dark hair falling across Mitsukai's cheek, sliding along his skin like the claws of a beast, his breath on his ear.

'I'll miss you if you go-

Mitsukai forced himself to stop, stop thinking about it. He needed to put the summer behind him and enjoy this school year.

Akuma stared across the grass at the boy who had also sat down under a tree. His golden eye glinted in the sun, causing a reflection of light near the other boy's feet. Akuma seemed not to notice. He watched him cat-like, as though he were his prey. His tail began to swish back and forth. He was bored, and, if this boy moved again, would jump him. It sounded like fun game to him.

He heard Mitsukai speak and looked over, wondering what he was talking about. He thought back, and realized he must be looking for Moroi. So it wasn't just my imagination.... He thought, a slight, small smile crossing his lips. One of his teeth stuck out, also catching the sun.

Denkou blinked slightly, tilting his head a bit as he stared at one of the other boys on the grounds. His hand was outstretched, as if he was... looking for something? "Um..." He mumbled, frowning a bit with confusion. What's he doing? But, before a word could escape the kitsune's lips, a glint of sunlight near his feet caught his attention. The happy-go-lucky boy with the brown-blonde hair blinked, and blinked again.

"...What the?" He mumbled, continuing to stare at the small golden pool. His head tilted more, and his sapphire hue blinked yet again. Looking up, intent on finding the source of the glint, he stared through the leaves of the tree. No sun rays coming through there. His brow furrowed with confusion. Where's it coming from? He thought, looking around. His hair brushed into his face with each movement of his head, either that or it would move away from the blindfold around his left eye. The other boy forgotten, his attention now fixed on finding where the light came from, he looked around some more. The only thing he could see was another boy he didn't know, also sitting under a tree. The light came from his direction; At least, it looked like that to Denkou.

Now he had done it. He had moved. Akuma stood carefully, leaving his suitcase behind. He started walking forwards, diagonally, trying to trick the boy that he wasn't going to get him. A few steps later, he ran as fast as his legs could carry him towards Denkou. He leaped and pounced the poor boy, a huge grin on his face.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!" He cackled, his face full of merriment. "I got you!" He bit the boy's ear, oblivious to the fact that people who didn't know him would be freaked out and that it was quite strange. He was used to doing this kind of thing with Johnathan, so it didn't occur to him. He growled playfully. He wanted to wrestle.

Denkou blinked, watching as the boy stood. Shrugging, he looked back to the sky, the goofy grin almost immediately being replaced on his face. Hearing running footsteps, Denkou looked back down, only to be thrown backwards with the force of the tackle. "Gah!" His face held utter shock as he looked at the unknown boy, eye wide and staring.

"Y-You sure did..." He mumbled, cracking a grin before chuckling. He just... Bit me...? The confused boy took a moment to register that thought; And it made him a bit more freaked out. Cat-boy just bit me... Looking up at the neko-jin, he blinked twice. "What's your name?" The kitsune asked, confused. After all, it wasn't every day that some random boy decided to tackle you, right? Yet, he was semi-used to this sort of behavior, thanks to his little brother back home. But... This guys about my age...

He giggled a bit before answering. "The name's Akuma." He grinned and growled a bit more. "What's yours?" He smiled down at him, his teeth sharp-looking. His tail swished to both sides and he tilted his head a bit, causing his eyes to catch more sunlight.

I scared him, I think. He wondered if he had. He found it strange that someone would be scared of that. He was used to people enjoying it... well, not exactly enjoying it, but at least joining in on his wrestling.

Quickly fixing the cloth around his eye, which had been jostled in the tackle, he laughed. "I'm Denkou! Nice to meet'cha, Akuma!" The fox boy replied, grinning. His own teeth were fairly sharp looking, due to being a kitsune. But, he was indeed frightened by the neko boy. He's a bit strange... Seems nice enough, but strange... The dirty-blonde male wanted to ask 'Why'd you tackle me?' but suddenly couldn't find his voice, which was a first. He didn't quite catch on to the whole 'wrestling' concept, being too startled by the recent event.

"Hm... So this is Sinful Wings?" A tall, attractive man sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he gazed up at his new home, at least until the summer, one catlike golden eye open and gazing at the building languidly. Stifling a yawn, he carried his cello and a small bag tied to the handle with a few clothing items across the courtyard, glancing at students as he passed, wondering if any of them were to be in his class.

Daemon was not nervous.

In fact, Daemon was never nervous. More like... bored. He paused a moment, setting the case down before him, leaning on it and frowning at the building, a single black eyebrow raised.

"...It sure doesn't look like much." he muttered. But by far the place was better than his... previous living conditions. Shaking off a shudder, he sighed and stared boredly at the entrance, as if willing something to happen...

"Nice to meet you too!" All of the chatting was getting in the way of wrestling, Akuma decided. He didn't want to talk. He wanted to wrestle. "oi! Wrestle me!" He said, grinning madly. Hee hee... I think i scared him. he thought, which made him smile more. He knew making people scared shouldn't amuse him, but it did anyway.

Denkou watched as an older man walked by, blinking. Ano... Must be a new teacher! He thought, grinning at the conclusion. It was then that he realized Akuma had just said something. "Wait, what?" He mumbled, eyes widening a bit. "Wrestle?"

Instead of freaking out, the boy smirked lightly. Sure, he'd wrestle a bit, he supposed. His muscles tensed lightly, in case the other really did want to wrestle. "Bring it, cat boy." The kitsune said, a sly fox-like grin tugging at his lips, and the whisker-mark like scars on his cheeks made that more evident.
