so, about shippo and inuyasha... INUYASHA IS SO MEAN TO THE LITTLE GUY!! ok, so shippo is so inoccent and says somethin not as bad like "what an idiot" and inuyasha goes WHAT DID YOU SAY?? and starts pinching his cheeks!! cry

Well yea they dont get along....But if they did then the show without be as funny without them fighting its always so great to watch.

True. And also, Shippo gets back at Inuyasha later in the series. I mean... he eats stink pelets or something, then breaths all over Inuyasha, makes Inuyasha fly and get stuck in sticky rice, barf up soot balls or whatever they were... *giggles* And it's all thanks to that perisite on his back! ^^ *sigh* Anyways, but yeah, the show wouldn't be half as funny if Yashi didn't beat up poor Shippo!

i agree shippo and inuyasha make the show funny! plus miroku and sango! did you see the episode 2 weeks ago?? its was hilarious at the end! sango was worried about kohaku, then miroku sat down beside her cuz she was alone. then shippo saw and said "hey he's actually not stroking her butt!" then inuyasha sat like a puppy and said "really?"" so then kagome said "inuyasha, you are so ignorant" and right before it was over, miroku said to sango "and dont worrie sango, i wont stroke your butt" rofl

Well, Inuyasha isn't very good at managing his anger, and Shippo has a tendency to get under his skin. I imagine he redirects some of his anger towards other characters, like Miroku and Kagome, because Shippo has the biggest mouth and doesn't strike back.

This may just be me but I see Inuyasha and Shippo having somewhat brotherly relationship. Shippo's still technically a kid and God help us if he looks up to Miroku. I think that both boys are longing for something they both lost.
Granted, I thought that Shippo would start keeping his mouth shut after getting hit on the head 5 or so times.

Shippo is absolutely there for comic relief. I adore him, but he gives just as much as he takes. my friend and I have an on going debate over shippo because my friend hates him and I think that the show wouldnt be as great as it is with out him. So sad that the series ends in the middle of a story arc. The fourth movie doesnt show off shippos best assets like in the series, but he is still totally cute.
