Yeah, I was born at a lousy time too. I'm such a fuddy-duddy though, I feel old. I find myself talking to other people my age and thinking of them as way younger than I am just because I'm so boring and geezerish. They talk about socializing and stuff and I'm like "I remember when I was young and I did stuff like that... oh wait, I'm young now, and I never did anything like that."
*sighs*

Just make good with the time you have now. It better to look at the future then worry about the past.

Well, right now I think we should make the best of the era we've got.
Comeon'...there are plenety of things which are taking place now that were back in the 60's... a vastly opposed war, a new civil rights movement, and a youth culture which seems more politically aware than that of the previous generation (perhaps equivilent to the hippie gen). Go on now my young friend! Pick up some old Phish records and go to some political rallies! And don't forget to wear flowers in your hair and hold peace and love in your heart! blaugh

Because of their similarities with the Grateful Dead, I'd associate Phish more with the 60's.

dirty hippie but black sabbath is better Black Sabbath was good when they had Ozzy. Black Dio sucked. I don't see what Black Sabbath has to do with hippies or the 60's though...

dirty hippie black sabbath is the best hippie band 3nodding No, actually, that would be Grateful Dead. Nobody is better than Jerry Garcia. But how exactly are Black Sabbath hippies? Having political and drug related themes in their music doesn't make them a part of the hippie culture.
