Just a topic about one of the controversies of the political satire in the boondocks. Here are a few example topics

- Ed the III, and Gin are spoof of Bush. and Rumsfeld.
- The mini mart scene is a spoof of the War on Terror, and the WMD theory.
- The Martin Luther King Jr's supposed oppinion, on modern day black america.
- King's philosophical oppinion on the 9/11 incident. And the fact some people doesnt want to hear the truth.

Jus a few we can dicuss about. If y'all have more, feel free to dicuss.

I felt it very interesting about how all of America turned on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr simply for making a reference to the Bible that they did not agree with. It seemed convincing that, that would happen in real life as well am I the only one who felt that?

I agree. I think that in real life, people would take a simple comment like that way to seriously, or to the extreme, and automatically assume the worse. It's very sad, but true. I suppose that it's easier to just get angry at people than it is to analyze their statements and opinions.

The episode where "Pimp My Ride" upgrades Granddad's car, and that... house upgrading show... wrecks their house was pretty interesting. Even though most of it might have been a joke, it still gives us a behind the scenes look at reality shows that are supposed to improve peoples' lives.

Oh wait... that wasn't political satire. My bad.

People always seem to block out the parts of the path they choose that they do not agree with and it is sad. I wonder why they havent showed the Goverment Agent in any episodes besides that. ( The White Shadow).

I liked the way he talked and the shades. They'll probably build on him more in later episodes of the second Season.

The real question is was he real or an imaginative entity from Huey's mind? Tough call...

With the unusual power of our secret services, Huey's flagrant and public revolutionary action, and memories of COINTELPRO. It seems very likly it may be real.

Yet Huey's massive paranoia and imagination (for example the Santa conspiracy in the comic) mixed with the last two make me wonder.
