Heh, okay first off I want to mention this - I joined this guild ages ago, but have hardly been active at all for the past several months. I have no excuse for this. >>' Sorry.

Anyway, I draw a bit, but not very well since I have many other, higher priorities. But I'm doing a rather large quest on Gaia and am looking for ways to make gold that won't bore me out of my mind. (bumping, fishing, etc.)

So my question is - how much would you pay for my art? I'm talking full-body sketches (inked?), no color.

Here are links to some of my newer drawings.

I hate this drawing. I really do.
Drawn in December '05
People say they really like this one, but she's too damn skinny. And the hand is screwed up. D:
I can draw ears a lot better now... but whatever.
And this is why I don't color. ><

Any comments and critiquing would be welcome as well. Although keep in mind that drawing isn't a very serious hobby for me, I just like doing it. ^^'

You could have potential to become better if you put a little more heart into it and studied anatomy, and stopped looking down on your art by saying that you hate that drawing and that your coloring-skills are bad and so on. Nothing good come out of that... I know of experience. sweatdrop Instead say; I like this, but I could have done better with this and that.

But as you said its just a hobby. Its a nice hobby indeed. 3nodding

That's a good point, I really should stop doing that.

I'll work on what you said, thanks very much for the advice!

fox_demon: anything in particular about the faces you think I need to work on?

Pretty much everything said already. ^ ^o

Mm.. for the faces: if you were aiming for a more anime/manga type style (the more often seen styles),
it helps to give the eyes more of a shape rather than a simple line and dot,
something like the colored picture~ (Stripes, I think was the name 9 9)

I like how you draw clothes, but I think you should look a little into drawing folds on pants. ^ ^o

But yeah, after all that, I'm not sure about pricing.. I was never good at pricing art.. ^ ^"

well yeah, if I were doing Gaia avatars I would do more typical anime-style eyes.

A lot of novice artists agree that folds are some of the hardest things to do. Harder than hands or faces or hair or any of those things that people often complain about... yeah. I'm working on it. I'll start using stock for clothes.

Yeah, I still have trouble with folds sometimes @.@ But after looking at some examples/tutorials I got a better idea, so just practicing folds and even just looking at them helps. ^w^
