Mignon stood in the foyer of the mansion, lightly hopping from one foot to the other. Her old CD player rested in a hip pocket and she lip synced along with the singer, some pop star that Jeane didn't approve of.

Flitch wondered into the mansion, it had been a while since he had paid a visit. Nychii was busy studying for her exams at home but allowed him to visit himself. She had fixed his skates for him and added some controls to the little digital watch she'd given him last weekend.
Spotting Mignon in the mansion, he hurried over, "Hey."

Mignon grinned at Flitch and turned her radio down. "Hiya, wheels! Howya doin' today?" She twirled in a half circle and looked over her shoulder at him, smiling.

Flitch breaked, his skates still on...he didn't feel like switching them back to sneaker mode as currently it felt more comfortable this way. He raised an eyebrow at Mignon's comment. Wheels? He thought to himself.
It must be some sort of game, Flitch thought to himself, yea a game. He decided to play along as he spotted Mignon's CD player, "Fine, and you Walkman?"

"Walk-Girl!" She insisted, grinning. "I'm good. Got some new CD's, but mommy took my Brittney Spears one. It made me sad. So, now I've got Kelly Clarkson." She patted it fondly. "I'm going to sing just like them when I get bigger."
She gave a big smile. "Are you going to be a skater when you get bigger? I think I watched some people on the TV. They skated on these funny ramp thingies."

Flitch nodded, he wasn't a huge music fan so wouldn't know much in that field although he had heard of these people before, somewhere on TV. He thought about Mignon's question and answered, "I don't think I'll be skating as a job, it's great to do it for fun though."
"You're gonna sing when you're older? Cool!" Sounds like she's really into it, thought Flitch, "Sing something!"

Mignon thought for a moment, and reached into her backpack. She took out a hairbrush and tapped it up against her hand once. She used the hairbrush as a microphone and belted out the theme songs to one of her morning cartoons.
She sang in a rather bouncy manner, tossing her head from side to side. All of her normal perkiness seemed to mutiply while she sang in her high, sweet voice.

Yea...she's really into it. Flitch clapped when Mignon finished, she's got a nice voice. Smiling, he commented, "That's really really really really good! You're probably better than some of those people you listen to!"
He skated around the girl, "You know that game that those people play with singing on TV? What was it called again..." He wiggled his ears, "Oh yea...something Idol...I think..."

Mignon smiled as big as she could. "Thanks, Flitch!" She dimpled at him, pleased. She knew she was good, but it was allways nice to hear someone else say so.
"I don't watch Idol much. Mom won't watch it untill all the silly people get voted off. I watch a lot of poker, and kick boxing. It's neat!" She skipped around Flitch, mood high.

Flitch laughed, skating a bit faster, "I've learned to play poker before...it's FUN! A bit boring after a while though. Kick boxing...what's tha...?" He halted right before the wall, giving a small sigh of relief having not run into it. "Does some one kick a box? Doesn't sound very interesting..."

"Wow! You're good at stopping! I would have ran right into that silly wall!" Mignon said, smiling. She'd never tried skates, persay, but she'd seen Jeane nearly kill herself.
"Nah. It's like boxing, where you punch stuff, but you kick instead! It's neat."

Flitch turned around upon his skates, "Thanks! It's not that hard really..." He wondered back over to Mignon but nearly slipped. Waved his arms around, he steadied his balance. He gave another sigh but because of something else, "you know...we sound an awfully lot like adults...let's play something!"

Mignon's eyes widened. "We do!" She said, fearfully. "I don't wanna be no stinky, boring old person!"
She eyed the staircase. "I say we build a skating ramp for you! So you can be like Tony Hawk!"

Flitch felt a bit shaky at the idea...like Tony Hawk? Well, it doesn't really hurt to try. He's never gone down some type of ramp before and the last time he tried going down stairs on his skates ended with a large bump on his head.
"Ermm..." He thought for a moment, if Mignon helped him, maybe he could do it! "Sure! So how do we build this ramp thingy?"
