I don't know if someone's posted this (didn't see a thread), but there's a TV show called 30 Days and their next episode has pro-life and pro-choice people (women) living together for 30 days.
I have no idea how either side is presented, but I thought you guys might be interested. It comes on FX on Wednesday at 10PM (Eastern).

That's kind of what I'm afraid of. I read the description, and it's one woman at a Christian crisis pregnany center, but she also describes herself as a staunch feminist and is pro-choice about women's repoductive health. I guess it's kind of a toss up.
@[Jaenelle.Angelline]: No problem. smile

My bet? They all get converted to being pro-choice. "Oh we didn't realize how it was! We see the light! God loves abortion too. heart "

Eh.... I hope not. sad I hope it's fair and balanced and all that; It would be very interesting to watch in that case.
But I doubt it.
Also, my mind's eye makes all the Pro-Choicers in the house look like lesbians. whee I wonder what that says about me...

tv tends to do that- unless the station has a lot of balls, thel ifers will be christian, dropping psalms and rosaries all over the place. and the choicers will ignore the subject at hand and refer tothe death of children as "reproductive choice" or other off-topic euphemisms...
by the way, would euphemism be a euphemism for "bullshit"?

I don't know, I've seen the show before and for the most part the guy doesn't use extremist examples. He also stays out of it and doesn't interfere with the people. So I think it should be fairly balanced.

Their 'dwelling' is the lesbian humping temple, so you're probably not that far off. 3nodding

I'm counting on a good catfight with lot of clawing at each other and hissing. domokun
Sorry....I kinda have a low opinion of reality TV shows in general. It seems that most of them involve gratuitious drama. I know that's supposed to be entertainment but still....my gosh people can be so immature when you put them in front of a camera. sweatdrop
But I do sincerely hope it makes for a good episode....and a happy ending for all. XD

Well, that gives me a bit of hope. I'm on the fence about watching it. More than likely I'll forget it's even on until, like, three minutes before it's over. sweatdrop
@Cyanna: xd I don't much like them either, epsiecally when they throw religion in. Good grief, but how it gets misrepresented!

I can tell you now that there probly be alot of fighting (or it would be pointless to show it on t.v.) and we would be the ones that would look bad.
People should learn that not all pro-lifers are Christians, religious or that they force people to stay pregnant and who knows what else many pro-choicers believe.
Trust me "reality" shows always seem to pick the crazest people and ones that are less understanding or intorlent to others (or it would just make it boring other wise, it's not real reality).

I know that the producers origionally contacted Christina at Realchoice a prolife blog that documetns deaths in "safe, legal abortions" for statistics ect. I don't know what happened after that.
