a dear friend of mine, whom I've known since middle school, a very close friend, has been talking to me about a serious problem with her boyfriend.
now, the only reason i find myself typing this is because i mentioned the guild, and, not wanting a gaia account, she asked me if i could post something about it.

well, here's the Story:

apparently one day in our freshman year (we're both seniors currently) her boyfriend whom she had just started having relations with, had urged her to have sex with him in the school. you see, she was wearing a skirt, and the boy was thinking below the belt, apparently. anyway, she kept saying no, but he pulled down her panties and tried to get her to anyway. eventually, once her underwear was off, he convinced her to say yes, and they did have sex. afterwards, she experienced horrible guilt, and to this day will break down crying if i mention my own girlfriend (Sierra) around her, because of the memories.

they're broken up now, and she didn't get pregnant, but she wants to know if it's rape, because even though she said no, she gave consent later.

and i think me posting this up is diggin up old closet skeletons, because she's a bit upset...

It IS rape, sorry to say. She did not want it. She only gave in because she would have felt guilty if she didn't. Making someone do anything against their will is rape. I know this first-hand, because I was also one who gave in.

update: caps were called. he got instant expulsion, but appealed jail time (i feel he shouldn't have been so lucky) and just got community service.

she's pretty okay now, even has a new boyfriend, and he says she's worth waiting for, so i hope everything works out. ^^

I did some research on the whole RAPE issue and yes this is rape. She gave in cause she was guilty. I think that it is good that they are now seperated and I also think that it is good for her to have a friend like you.
