My violin teacher has short term memory, so all of my lesson, we only do the thing we start with. i also have to walk over to his house for every lesson because not only can i not drive, my mom isn't home yet. Also, each time i see him, he has a different personality, like the girl in 50 first dates. i dont no wat to do, any advice would be welcome! gonk sweatdrop 3nodding

Get a new teacher. Unless you've grown fond of him...in which case you should comfort him I suppose...

um...I'd probally get a new teacher if possible. No point in holding youself back because your teachers got short term memory problems.

I believe you should look into getting a new teacher. I have actually been thinking about the same thing because it seems like my teacher moves very slowly with lessons. I was working on this one solo for a couple years before I started a new one...YAH! And you thought you had problems!

Get a new teacher!!! Even though you might like your teacher, it's not fair to you. How do you learn anything?
