The weather is great, the gold is flowing and we could do with a little something to occupy our time. So I propose the entire Clan takes a vacation.
It will be out of the continuity of the main thread so anything goes, just in character. No Shinigami will be held to the Three Paragraph rule as this is meant to be a holiday just for fun and exercise. If you can and want to stick to the rule then you're very welcome to.
The biggest problem is...where to go? What to do? When is lunch?
As is the best way to solve such problems, Guyy turns to democracy.
Guyy tapped away at the keyboard in front of him cheerfully. Just because he was indecisive was no reason not to take his clan away for a trip. He finished the mail he was writing before sending to every inbox in the Library. All of the clan members who checked their viewscreens would find the following message:
Hello to the fearsome Shinigami Clan!
I have an announcement to make - we're all going on a summer holiday! Yes, even you Aya. Don't frown at the screen like that. Serious can come later. Unfortumately I have a bit of a problem which needs the collective brain power of the clan to solve:
Where shall we go?
Funds are unlimited so let your imaginations run wild. Shall we go to the hot springs and relax in the natural mineral waters, enjoying the hospitality of a tradition inn? Shall we pack up some tents and go camping in the woods? Perhaps some of you would prefer a relaxing time in an expensive spa, or to visit the bright lights and 24 hour lifestyle of the big city?
There are no limits, so I expect some good suggestions when you reply to this message. If we have the time we could enjoy several of your holiday ideas!

A summer holiday sounds... fantastic! Especially in the middle of winter. the lady thought enthuisastically as she began to type back a response. Seeing now it was cold out and snow was littering the ground....
~I have a few suggestions~ she began as she listed all places that had palm trees as part of the normal decor namely all the places in the Carribean including it's lush forests on secluded islands. Maybe she'd even get to see family!
~Has anyone else mentioned anything of interest yet?~ she finished before sending the message and signing off.

This sounds like a wonderful idea! She types eagerly hoping she will not make gramatical errors and what not. . .
I'll just throw a few ideas out there: (I'm new to the clan)
~Maybe assign different people in different cars? Half the fun of a road trip is driving to your destination and getting to know others.
~Maybe the desitination is a National Park? Yellowstone National park would be good for hot springs!
~Or Possibly a trip to Washington D.C.? I have traveled there before and that place interests me. My father said "If a person went to one monument/musuem once per day, it would take longer than a lifetime to see them all just in D.C"
She leans back in her chair and proud of her ideas. . . Hehe.

Emma Jane's finger raised to her lips, tapping as she thought a little. After an hour or so she finally begins to type.
Let's go somewhere beautiful and serene. We could all use a little easy going time, I think. The mountains are so majestic! We could stay in a homey lodge. That would be perfect.
She sent the message with a little smile. It was easier to type words into a screen than to say them aloud to another person, something she was quite grateful for.
