Not one.
He promises to spend all the time he can with me, but his relatives recently opened up a business and he is working long hours there. He also is spending a lot of time with his friends before he leaves, and as of late, his computers at home are fritzing. The fates seem against us, but I don't wanna give up yet. This is a story that corresponds with a picture a friend of our's is doing. The story itself is rather cheesy, do to the fact that it is done through our RP characters. (Mention on 'Inu' 'kitsune' 'fox' are quite the hints.)
This is the sketch of the drawing that she is finishing for us.

The clocked ticked. It was a dull sound, that had seemingly grown quite painful to hear over the immense amount of time spent within its range of mocking. Every soft beat made her eyes droop a little more, its teasing tocks attempting to get her to bed before she could spend some time with her mate. It was a constant feud between them, woman verse machine, and on many occasions the damned thing won.... leaving her to only dream about her koishii’s soft gaze rather then to actually get to see it.
But, more so then normal, she was quite determined of beating the bewitching sound that echoed in her ears. A soft reminder that their time was slipping, and that with each passing second grew closer to when they would have to leave one another’s constant company. A moment that she and him both dreaded, but barely spoke about. They didn’t want to speak of when they would be parted, and left to only get a few moments of each other’s bliss.
In all honesty, she had somehow, sadly enough, begun to grow use to the disappointment of not getting to see him. Perhaps this was a work of God, to get her use to the unsettlement of her mate’s scarce company, so she would be stronger when the moment did arise. The only thing she regretted was that Kiseki didn’t get to see him as much... And if anyone knew how upsetting having Tai not there, it was her beloved little pup, who would constantly whimper and whine to his mother for his father’s presence.
But alas, by the time Taisho came home he was already delved inside of his head, chasing things within his dreams.
The kitsune closed her eyes, feeling her strength slipping, and the inward spiral of sleep suddenly eroding her thoughts. The ticking slowed, to the point where she could no longer even hear it, and she felt everything slowly disappear from the world around her. She slumped forward, head falling onto neatly folded arms upon a sturdy computer desk, her Pajamas still that of her original dressings. Even changing took to much time away from waiting for him... She didn’t dare go away for periods of time unless she absolutely needed to.... She needed to get all the memories she could, and such things like taking breaks and laying down cut into that...
The fox mewled in her sleep, her body thankful for the rest she was finally allowed to savor. Though her mind was still relentless, placing images of Taisho leaving within her mind... thoughts that made her body freeze over even when she was asleep. The mere idea of Taisho’s warm hearted, and compassionate self leaving her made her heart wrench.... and she never wanted to have his companionship be stolen... Not for a very long time...
The clock kept beating, even though his foe had fallen within a deep slumber, and the seconds ticked off into minutes, and the minutes slowly become hours. And within the quiet house of soft tick-tocks and dreaming mutters, the sound of a door being open echoed to a non-listening room. The Inu-yokai slipped in, closing the door slowly and softly behind him as he came into his place of rest.
He passed by Kiseki’s crib, taking a few moments to pull the blanket up past his button nose, before continuing on the path to his own room. Pulling off his shirt to expose his upper half to the bedroom, his eyes slowly begun to adjust to the darkness of the quiet room. Letting out a soft sigh to see that his mate was not tucked in, her placed the piece of apparel on the floor and went go search for his little vixen.
Tip-toeing around, his senses not as keen for how exhausted he was, he came to find her at her desk, passed out in a pitiful display of tiredness. He let out a soft sigh at the sight, and moved inwards in a movement that showed his weariness, his feet giving a slight awkward shift as he pulled the rolling chair back. Watching as his mate gave a soft whine at the movement, he quickly scooped her up, holding her bridal style as he blindly moved back to his room.
Kicking the door open with his foot, he moved to the right side of the king sized bed, laying his mate down and removing her more bulky pieces of apparel, and leaving her in her undergarments. Pulling the blanket up to her shoulders, and kissing the top of his nose, the Inu youkai rounded the mattress and striped of the rest of his bothersome clothing, removing his watch he then laid it neatly upon his night stand, finally laying down and relaxing.
He had not even been asleep yet, when he felt his lover’s arms wrap around him, holding him close as she nuzzled into the back of his neck providing him with the comfort and warmth that even his own bed could not give him. He smiled to himself, and held her arms, letting out a long sigh of contentment and happiness.
But then, his ears picked up her words. The sleepish mumble was hard to understand, but he soon picked it up.
“I will always wait for you...”
The soft breath of his mate’s goodnight words, made a gentle heat enter his chest, and he held her even stronger, latching to her as if she were his life line. The salt of her dreaming sadness entangled his nose, and he rolled over so that he could comfort her even as she slept. Bringing her head to his chest, and kissing her forehead, he made sure that he would not separate from her at any time soon, holding her as if she would slip away from his touch. Nuzzling the crown of her head, he replied to her comment with a reassuring one of his own.
“And I will always come home to you.”
The kitsune’s lips raised at the ends, and she smiled as her subconscious recognized the words, and the emotion contained within. She allowed him to hold her tight, her dreams untangling themselves and becoming pleasant as the clock continue to fill the room with its soft, steady, beats.
