((This RP takes place after Mbaya is beaten by Hakan, but before she meets Kimya again))
Bruised and broken.
She'd lost her dignity, and what little pride she had left was diminished by the fact she'd returned here. Of all places.
She knew she'd lose, his brute strength and his growth exceeded her skill, and she was left bruised and bleeding. However she felt a little different, the usual adrenalin rush of the fight was accompanied by something else, but she had shrugged it off until now. Mbaya frowned, her hazel eyes focusing on the ground. Why return here of all places? She asked herself. Perhaps she found little comfort in the place she grew up? Never. She hated these lands and she would never forget that. Perhaps it was because she knew around here it was safe, the weak lions of her childhood flashed one by one in her mind. Malaika. Nitesh. Her own mother.
Growling she lay her head against the ground, frustrated. Why did she feel so strange? She'd not been used to this amount of emotions before, she was simply driven by hatred. Her bloodstained pelt could use a wash and her limbs ached to move. Nothing was paticularly deep, it had just been a show of strength, and although Hakan was injured too, he had beaten her in the overall contest.
Beaten.
The word rang in her mind, irritating her to no end.

Fedha was in higher spirits than usual, he'd jsut had the run in with Ivie, such a fateful meeting it was. Or perhaps he'd known all along he'd run into her... she had been his first stepping stone. And though it had taken long, he had gotten the most useful information out of her that he could. And later, they would go to see her father together. He would be taught.
He was lanky for a juvenile, but still a little chubby. His body had put on extra weight he really didn't need right now, and he was rather self concious about it. Hopefully with all of the traveling he'd be doing and had done it would slowly come off. Other than that he looked like a normal male, though something about the way he carried himself screamed out 'female', perhaps because of the two parents who raised him were both females. The only thing that made him stand out, if at all, was a small cord that hung around his neck, with a blue-green stone resting against his chest.
His nostrils flared as he caught the scent of blood and lioness mixed, and he let his paws take him in that direction. When his goal came into view his brows furrowed just slightly, but an amused smile grew on his maw. "My, my. What do we have here?"

Mbaya lifted her head off the ground, it was still thumping, which was not suprising given the fact that she had ran from the graveyard to here straight after the fight. And now she'd ran away from Hakan she'd never be able to face him again, never.
She tried to summon a glare, but just looked at the juvenile. "What the hell do you want?" Her tone was bitter, who did he think he was, the little chubby git. Her muscles flexed under her pelt as she sat up, concealing a wince as her limbs groaned.
It was obvious there was a lot on her mind, coupled with the loss of the fight there was that feeling that she simply couldn't put her finger on. She frowned heavily. She would just try to remain strong, that was it.
But wearing a mask meant she couldn't fool herself.

Fedha quite enjoyed her already. He didn't meet many so willing to be so rude. He let himself sit down, still watching her with interest. "To fulfill my curiousity, is all." He said, almost in a cheeky manner. "Have a temper, do you?" Well so did he, it was just much harder to reach. "Or perhaps you don't like strangers much... so who did this to you?" He grinned at this. He had no brains, honestly. Trying to work up an already worked up lioness. Who was bigger than him, too.

The lioness would have usually sworn at him or threatened to attack him, but she just wasnt herself. She was shook up and confused. "Whatever. Go ahead and fufill your curiousity with your questions, kiddo." She said sarcastically, giving him a blank look.
In reply to his question, she fell into thought. Hakan was, as he had said, both an ally and an enemy, so what should she class him as, because he certainly seemed the enemy now.
"An old, friend of mine." She lied. "We don't always see eye-to-eye." Her voice had a hidden depth to it, as if she was almost longing for something.

"You misunderstand. My curiousity was to whome was giving off the fell scent of blood. That has already been filled." He shrugged his shoulders. As to now? Fedha was getting used to conversing with others, practically enjoyed it no matter what the conversation was about.
"Now that is interesting, miss. So did they turn out looking worse, or better?" His ears perked forward as if he was really interested in this information... but his tone was rather sarcastic.

Mbaya sighed, her bitter voice becoming a wail as she got frustrated. "I don't know?! The same?!"
The only reason she felt she'd lost was because of what she'd felt that day. She shouldn't feel for Hakan like that. He was her enemy!
But as much as she tried to conceal her feelings, she alwasy felt them burn in the middle of a fight, twisting her actions and her thoughts into something else.
That was why she felt so weak.

Actually, maybe this wasn't as fun as it had been looking from the beginning. Fedha's face had turned a bit stoney and displeased, obviously he was easily swayed on his entertainment. "Obviously you must have been fighting with your eyes closed, then." He hissed out slowly, smartly. Fedha could be rather sarcastic.
His tail gave a flick and he stood up again, stretching out.

"Shut up, you stupid brat." She wasn't paying much attention to Fedha, and though she glared at him, her eyes were empty.
It wasn't the fact that he was stronger, it was the fact she was no longer free. She was his. She'd been claimed by him and fought as he had told her to. She loved him and she'd had to pay the price. Why had she been so stupid.
Embarassment flared up in her eyes, before she spat at the juvenile again.
"Can you just piss off and go attempt to terrorize somebody else?"

His left ear flicked, the only thing that indicated he was still listening for her. Indeed he was looking for something else along the land. "Oh?" He glanced back. "Am I terrorizing you?" His brows shot up and he surpressed his grin.
"Perhaps you should grow stronger if you don't want to get your a** handed to you." He shrugged and then began to move away into the savanah.

Mbaya gave him a glare and stretched out along the dry ground. "Stupid little..." She broke off into a stream of colourful language, her claws unsheathed as she clawed at the ground in frustration, eventually running a paw across her own foreleg. She watched the blood rise from each cut and was almost exicted by its scent and appearence-even if it was her own.
Thank god that cub was leaving. Now she'd have time on her own to think, but was that what she really wanted? With a snarl she pulled herself up and started to run back to the graveyard. She'd avoid Hakan, she didn't care. She just needed to get away from everything.

His lips quirked into a small smile and he continued away, disappearing just as she'd disappeared.
