Alright, im a week late...my fiance and I had unprotected sex before he went off to basic training about three weeks ago.

My bestfriend comes to visit tomorrow...and he knows that im late..and he continues to tell me im ******** lol

Now, I have talked to my fiance (we get married in november so its not a MASSIVE issue if i am pregnant) he wants me to wait till when hes here(november...>.<) to take a test, because he wants to share that moment with me. (i was suggesting just being on the phone if i need to take one)

Now, I would be about three months pregnant in november and im not thinking thats a good thing to wait that long.

Also, it could really just be stress from him leaving and being in the military, work , lack of sleep, and planning a wedding alone with why my period is late.

I'm not completly sure, concidering we did have unprotected sex and he did not pull out.

So.....any suggestions? I know im probably being silly, I don't exactly "feel" pregnant. Its just in the back of my mind as a possiblity.
I have been peeing out the wazoo...and one time i just...lets just leave it as i didnt get into my house in time >.< (sorry if that was a over share..) lol Every time i have to pee..its a emergancy..I've also have had swelling in my hands, and i have been moody and chocolate craved lol but I kinda shruged those things off as pms and that i frankly miss my fiance.

Now i have money to get a test, just doctor appointment is kinda out of the question since we have no insurence and I have no car at the moment. I could ask a friend to drive me...to like planned parent hood if I had a pregnancy test that was possitive. Just...idon't know if im just being silly or what.

what do yall think?

I don't understand why you didn't at least use condoms if you don't have medical insurance, because it would have been a lot cheaper in the long run compared to the medical visits you're going to need if you ARE pregnant.

As for your "best friend", you can tell him to mind his own business. Telling you "you're ********" repeatedly is showing he's not really a friend, and he's being a jerk.

If you need to take a pregnancy test once you've missed your period, take it without him there. If he'd like, you can be on the phone when you do it, but it'd be foolish to wait until he returns. By that point, it may not be possible to get an abortion, and you'd be missing out on valuable pre-natal care, which should be the most important thing to get if you are in fact pregnant.

If you're peeing a lot, it also might be a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), and it's possible to get those from sex. I've had them before, and it's frustrating because it's like I have to pee all the time, even if it's only a very small amount. You can also get UTI's from wearing thongs (the bacteria travels from the a**s down to the v****a on the material), though I don't know how common that is.

If you take the test and it's positive, you need to see a doctor. Or go to a walk-in clinic. Get the money one way or another, and go as soon as you can. Ask your parents for the money if you have to, ask a friend to loan you some, etc. If you can't afford to see a doctor, you shouldn't have been having unprotected sex in the first place. Get the money to see a doctor, and go.

God I love living in Canada. I know this is completely a non-contributing post but hell, I can see a doctor any time I want, as many times as I want, and I don't have to pay a cent. I can't immagine trying to get my Fiance to go to the doctor when something's bothering him if he had to pay to go. He'd use that as an excuse not to. The American Healthcare system, or lack there of, saddens me.

Also, I didn't know you could get infections from thongs, that's something I need to tell a friend of mine now. xd Thanks for the info, Nikolita. biggrin
