Listen up, maggots! I'm hightailin' out of town, and as such I'm taking a fortnight away from Gaia. Nothing had better be out of place during my break, and all disputes will be settled before I come back.
I'd set someone in charge, but I don't have those powers, and I can't seem to contact dj medieval. So report anything to me and, God willing, I'll be able to take care of it in due time.

A: Prove to me (or whoever happens to read your application) that you're not a festering retard. Prove that you have an excellent command of the English language without sounding high-and-mighty.
PS. YOUR JOIN REQUEST DAMN WELL BE AT LEAST A PARAGRAPH OR I WILL DENY YOUR REQUEST AND URINATE ON YOUR AVATAR. I'm getting tired of idiots sending a sentence or two and then I discover they slipped under the radar and are complete idiots. In fact, if our research team looks through your previous posts and finds something hideous, that's a denial too.

I went on a trip. I came back, only to find a guild that I'm rather unhappy with.
I have three days before I need to get studying for my exams in September. If I see anyone even twitching in the wrong direction during those three days, I will PM them with questions and probably ban them.
Is this harsh?

Regarding roleplaying:
SUMMARY: There is now a GGN roleplay thread. CONFINE ALL ROLEPLAY TO THIS THREAD, PERIOD.
I consider roleplaying to be a description of your action. Using stars does not necessarily denote roleplaying.
I do not consider things like roleplaying:
*blink*
*sigh*
... because I consider them an expression of emotion, much like an emoticon.
These are roleplaying:
*steals your hat*
*kisses you*
*humps Delara*
... and if you have to ask why I consider them roleplaying, I will crush your skull with a brick.
Q: Why do you disapprove of even light roleplay in a general GGN thread?
A: Because it generally degenerates into nothing but roleplay and stupid s**t such as pages and pages of short RP posts. I don't want to read that, and most other people don't.

Some of you might've noticed that the member list only displays the first 30 members. There is another page... Gaia just doesn't bother giving us a link to it. mad
