*With silent footsteps the vibrant marked wolf slowly moved forward; his moon lit eyes narrowing upon a small furred creature that hopped a few feet in-front of him. With flashing fangs the young maned wolf lashed out at the animal and with one fatal bite took its life. Blood slowly dripped off of his black muzzle as he pulled his kill to the ground and pinned it’. His gangs slowly sunk into its blood pelt as the wolf ripped his meal from limb to limb. He wasn’t paying much mind to anything around him right now- night time was his time to hunt.*

The grey wolf padded away from the watering hole after a drink to go back to his own den. Lately, he has been missing it. Something in his mind plagued him, Yazid. Why did he show up as an embodiment of darkness when clearly he had someone he cared about....Kol. Images and theories ran through his head over and over again about the wolf. His markings, his eyes, and his way of moving in the shadows. Lastly, what happened the night he woke up outside of Saa's den. What happened to him? Yazid was clearly there since his scent lingered. Usu laid down on the hill where the Acacia Tree's roots covered the top.

*The wolf snapped his jaw and roughly nawed at the bones and cartilage of his meal. His neck slowly pushed upward and with a satisfied grin he started to pad away from his left-overs, licking his maw out of impulse. Yazid had been in a bitter mood as of late- due to Kol’s silly actions and adoptions of useless and weak creatures. Something about all of his reasoning didn’t click in the wolf’s mind but yazid wouldn’t question Kol- he had never done that before. Slowly the wolf trotted closer to the tree that Usu lay under, unaware of the other males whereabouts.*

Soft breezes wafted through the two hills, these breezes were how he communicated with the wolf. Usu closed his eyes and shot up. A glance fell to the tree and out to the night savannah. Usu stared out, nothing. He didn't see anything.
"Are you sure?" he asked. Another breezed. Usu looked out waiting for him to appear as the old gnarled tree said.

*Stopping slowly Yazid’s eyes went wide- he forgot about checking to see if he was being followed. The wolf pinned his ears back and slowly moved himself around, his yellow orbs darted from place to place as he inspected the lands around him. A soft grin passed his feathers as he let his gaze settle upon the form of another wolf- a wolf that he new. Usu was laying down like a fool- under a tree- in the middle of the night- what was he thinking? Padding over to him Yazid spoke out, his tone a bit sarcastic.*
"Talking to trees now are we?"

"It was a joke."
*The young male laughed to himself before he sat down, in-front of Usu. His eyes shifted from one place to another, as if he was unsure of what he wanted. Yazid had many problems- and trust in himself and everything around him was a major one he would have to overcome some day. The younger wolf was always on edge- but for now he would relax.*
"Wait- what- were you really talking to the tree?"

"My turn, what is it that you want from me?" he asked. Usu was innocent for the most part, Yazid was hard to read. Some thoughts came to mind, but nothing speical or outrageous. "Where's Kol? Where's Wyvern?" he asked.

*With a soft frown the young male wolf eyed Usu and smirked.*
"Clever."
*His words rolled off of his tongue slowly, as if to taunt Usu in a way. Yazid didn’t recall telling this male about the cheetah cub they had taken in- odd- but then again he was seer.*
"Kol is off with that good for nothing cub. He is trying to form a pride- I could care less right now."
*The wolf surged.*
"My turn- why are you out here all alone?"

Lately, they have been weaker and he can stand them without showing any signs, perhaps he was getting stronger physically.
"My turn, how are you handling being mateless?" he grinned, his turn to mock the wolf. Usu's eyes glinted in the moon light. Something was changing? No....this was still the same Usu, he just seemed different around this wolf. But how did he know he was mateless?*

*Frowning again the yellow eyed wolf shorted and looked away from Usu. Yazid had never thought about a mate before- why did it even matter? He didn’t care much for females and he spent most of his time alone or with a lion- a mate just wouldn’t fit in with his way of life.*
"Meh, I live."
*He surged and looked away from the older male, a bit confused with himself and the question asked.*

"I don’t care too much for females. So a mate is out of the question."
*Yazid nodded slowly. He was also very young still, just at his adult hood in fact- so he had never thought about any of this. With a bit of a sour look the wolf eyes Usu darkly.*
"Look- you have female problems so I won’t take advice from you- you should look into taking care of your own problems- I am fine alone."
*He nodded and looked around again.*
"I have a pride I have to follow- a soon to be pride that is. No time for a female slowing me down."

Then something hit him, not litteraly, seerly. "Zid....is Goma with this pack of your's? Pride whatever?" He asked. He didn't know the jackal personally, but from a friend he has heard of him. "You know, yee big, black, red hair, know him?"

"Maybe. I wouldn’t know. Kol is letting anyone one in- it seems."
*He frowned and laughed at Usu. He did have a female problem and Yazid could smell it all over him. Smirking the wolf licked the dried blood from his maw and said nothing else. His eyes were like the moon- huge and hued over with a soft yellow glaze.*
