Mvumo yawned and stretched after taking a short nap. He knew that he should probably hunt for Aadil and himself soon, but he couldn't concentrate on the hunt now when so many thoughts were on his mind. He had a journey to undertake, as soon as Aadil was awake and ready to travel with him. A journey to a new home, and a new family.

Still, the lingering thoughts of his old family ate at him, for he knew that he was partially responsible for his old life falling apart. Should he have chosen differently? Was he even worthy of this sudden favor from the storm god? He started wandering to where he knew was a nearby watering hole, trying to dismiss negative thoughts of his past.

The orange, foreign lioness stared dully at the water. Life seemed to have gone and past. Maybe she should give it a chance to change. She had a crappy life, and only one life to live, why not live that crappy life? Thoughts of living ran through her head slowly and surely. Many have tried to persaude her, perhaps she should.

Azra stared into the water, staring back at herself. He face was growing thin as her unhealthy body was deminishing. If she was planning to live, then she had to take better care of herself.

Mvumo looked up from the ground that he stared at as he walked, blinking in surprise at the bright orange form at the watering hole. This was most a most unusual shade. He'd seen the bright red Firekin, and he wondered if perhaps this creature was of that pride. But no, they were too proud of their lands to leave them.

Mvumo wasn't sure if he should approach the watering hole or not. He might be expected to have a conversation, and he didn't really feel like speaking to anyone. He was wasting too many words of late as it was, and to speak with lionesses without his Aadil around made him uncomfortable.

Azra raised her head up when the scent of yet another came to her. Strange, he didn't seem so high strung as the other males she has seen. Actually since her losses, she began to hate males for some reason. Azra, not wanting to waste too many words on the opposing gender raised her paw and waved slightly.

Males, I swear, if this ones a sniveling good for not, then I will break a back bone into him. she smirked, that would give her something to do. Males....what fun.

Mvumo nodded in return before approaching the watering hole to drink. This one wasn't talking; what a wonderful thing! He didn't like talking if it wasn't around Aadil, and even with her he tried to conserve his words as best as his hormones would allow. He wouldn't mind sharing a watering hole with another who wasn't speaking.

Calm, quiet surroundings, and surprisingly good water. He would have to show Aadil this place, for life was good here.

Azra watched the male drink from the watering hole. It was a new terriorty and she knew nothing of its laws. She could only hope she dosn't break any. The orange lioness rose to her paws and moved closer to him, drinking also, nearby. Her violet eyes glanced over to him now and again. He seemed intresting, probably not a coward as she thought. A male to make a tough decision for her? No...he was not it. Azra continued drinking, glancing over every other moment.

Mvumo drank the cool water, occasionally glancing over to make certain the lioness was keeping a respectable distance from him. She seemed frail now that he got a better look at her, and he was uncertain what she was willing to do out of desperation. He also didn't know if Aadil was the jealous type, though even if she wasn't, he wasn't going to do the slightest thing to call his behavior into question. He was always a tad uncomfortable around the opposite gender, especially since he now had a mate who wanted to have his cubs. He had responsibilities now.

Azra drew up her head and padded back over to where she was laying. She got all the imformation she needed. The male had someone in his life, and was content. Azra smiled on the inside to the time she once had those. Hopefully this male would experience it too.

"You have a good thing going for you." she murmured before returning her gaze to the water.

Mvumo looked up at the lioness, slightly shocked by the sudden speech. How did she know so much about him? That was most interesting. It seemed that he was a mere trainee at reading body language.

Still, this lioness of few words had spent some on his behalf, so it was only polite to say something in return. "Thank you," he said simply before returning to drinking the water. He was definitely going to have to bring Aadil to this place; the water was delicious!

The lioness's tail flicked about as she watched the lion drink. Just by his scent, she knew he had someone. By the way he acted was that his mate was all he wanted. By the lack of converse, he well...a good lion to his mate. Azra smiled and watched. In him, she saw her past mates. She missed....alot.

The lioness got up, "Good-bye." she murmured and started away. He reminded her too much of them and brought up bad memories. She needed some time alone. At least, she was able to remember them from her good memories.

Mvumo looked up at the lioness's words and watched her walk off. Good, she understood...he was glad of that. Though he didn't mind explaining his love of Aadil to others, there were some situations, like this one, in which the wrong word could lead to danger, chaos, confusion, and general bad vibes for all.

Having gotten his fair share of the water, he set off toward where he had left Aadil, content that all was well. Sure, he'd have memories of his lost family, but at least he had a new one. It was not fair to question the storm god; it was merely his duty to follow the path that was given to him.
