As a planet! I mean OMG! wohoo! (I know this Xena isnt why they are naming the newly discovered planet Xena, but it is for me...) How awesome!

From what I've read, unfortunately, it's just a nickname and probably won't be accepted as the permanent name. Actually, it's still under debate whether it's a planet or not. If they decide it isn't, Pluto may have its status revolked.

Wow, I hadn't heard about this one. That's really cool! I had, however, heard about the debate over if Pluto is really a planet or not.

Yes. Some info about Xena - the object in the solar system, that is - may not be "big enough" to be a planet. But once astronomers come up with a definition for "planet," they'll know whether it is or not. I learned all about it in Astronomy class. It's WAY out there, but SO COOL. ^.^

It's bigger, but it's also further away from the angle of rotation thingie... Drats. Y'know how most galaxies are shown to all be flat disks? Well, Xena is on a tilt. Pluto is, as well, but Xena's is more extreme.
