Gamecube games and news

We all know what the Gamecube is, well the Gamecube wont really be center stage this E3 like it has been (well...not last year with the Ds being shown). This year Nintendo has seemed to have just made the Cube the second to last console on its importance list of consoles with the Revoultion been shown and with Ds and its online support.

But what the Gamecube has, is proberlly the biggest game of this year. The Legend of Zelda (working title) is being shown and going to be playable. A month or so before E3, it was called the game of the show even before the show. Yes it is that big.

Now, here is the list of games that will be at E3, and are going to be released on the Gamecube.

Gamecube Game List

2K Games
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Activision
Fantastic Four

Bandai
Digimon World 4

Buena Vista Games
Chicken Little
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe

Capcom

James Bond 007: From Russia with Love
Madden NFL 2006
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects
Medal of Honor: European Assault
NASCAR: Chase for the Cup 2006
NCAA Football 2006
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The Sims 2

Majesco
Teen Titans

Namco
Namco Museum 50th Anniversary
Pac-Man World 3

Natsume
Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life

Nintendo (yay!)
Dance Dance Revolution with Mario
Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki
Geist
Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball
Odama
The Legend of Zelda

SEGA
Shadow the Hedgehog

THQ
The Incredibles 2
Scooby-Doo! Unmasked
SpongeBob SquarePants Party
WWE Day of Reckoning 2

Vivendi Universal
Crash Tag Team Racing
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

(list supplied by Ign.com. And as they say, these games are only the officially named games from each company. There could be some shocks at E3 that wont be on the list...remember that)

Revolution games and news

It is coming. This time next week we will know what the Revolution looks like and what makes it so Revoltionary. If Nintendo play their cards right, this might be the biggest console they have ever created.

Revolution games

To tell you the truth, Ill leave the games until they are officially anounnced. It'll be better that way. But, from what we know there is going to be Mario 128, A Halo "Killer" from Retro Studios and a Rpg by the makers of Golden Sun Camelot.

Revolution news

BIG NEWS!!
THE Revoltuion
This IS the Revolution. Unless Nintendo pull out another model it looks like this is the the future of Nintendo!
http://media.cube.ign.com/articles/615/615008/img_2788923.html

About the Revolution so far (13th May)

Right, we all know that the Revolution is 1)Online via WiFi, and 2)Is backwards compatable. We also know that IBM and ATi is working on the Rev' too. These came from the mouth of Iwata. But, since then back in March, we have new news.

The Revolution having a DvD player?

Yes, the Revolution IS going to have a DvD player.

Ign.com
Although Nintendo has historically selected proprietary media formats, such as the GameCube Optical Disc, for its platforms, the publisher is with Revolution opting for a more standardized medium. The new console will play standard DVD media, according to the company. Nintendo has not yet revealed if Revolution will as a result be able to play Hollywood movies on DVD, but that seems very likely at this point.

http://cube.ign.com/articles/613/613340p1.html

The Rev' being able to stand and its size.

I dont need to say anything really...

Nintendo Europe
In its final form, Revolution will be about the thickness of three standard DVD cases and only slightly longer. The versatile Revolution will play either horizontally or vertically, allowing the user total flexibility in setting up a gaming session wherever they have a television.

(if the link doesn't work, all I can say is sorry and try Ign.)

Gaughan's comments

Well it looks like the Rev' is promising. I just don't know what will be so revolutionary about it. And I am only going to take the official word as an answer.

Gaughan's comments

Handheld systems...what would we do without them? In school you have a teacher talking about history...all you want it to make your friends history in Metroid Prime: Hunters.

It looks like the Ds is going to get a lot of games that'll be killer ones for the next year or so, but I'm abit disappointed at the GBA line up. With only Fire Emblem (8...or 9?) to me as the only GBA that stands out. With Ds I think I lost count with one, maybe two hands (I need to have a look first xd )

The Ds also has one of the biggest news we Nintendo fans want. Ds online. What has Nintendo got in their minds. We'll have to see.

Other Nintendo Stuff

Right, here is the news that can't really fit into the other parts.

So what kind of stuff am I on about?

Well to tell you the truth Im going to put news on stuff like what the V-pocket is (if its been shown), the Play-pal and any other add ons to the consoles. Don't worry, this place won't have much really, but donb't over look it.
