Enjoy.

Its a pretty fun game, but also very hard at first. But once you get use to it, it is pretty fun.

Ooo! Ooo! Ooo!

I've played this before but I had forgotten it's name and all that so I lost it. Thanks so much for leading me to it again.

And yeah, learning curve = ow.

Yeah, the game is...rather difficult at first. But I like how its too fast paced: Meaning that no one can insult you for OMG He's a noob and he's doing bad!!!!! Seriously jerks like that turned me off of Gunbound.

It was rather fun from what I played it, escpially the leave of difficulty involved. Good thing that they added the ability to customize: That's what drew me back into it.

Right. I downloaded it, installed it, and played it 3 or 4 times. It's a cool game and I'm seriously impressed that it runs on dial-up.

I just seriously suck at it badly.

Problem #1: Total Absense of Proper Documentation
All you have to go by are a few poorly typed tutorials in the forums, done by players. A lot of the tutorial subject remains unexplained.

Problem #2: Clutching/Grabbing
I press the 'C' key to activate a grab.
my bot slides forward but doesn't grab the target.

I then press 'A' and then 'D' to activate a grabbing move and it does nothing. I try it again and then right click. it does nothing.

Read all the tutorials, tried every conceivable method of touching the keys, and still no success in a grab move.

Problem #3: Enemy mechs move insanely fast sometimes
Yes, each bot has a different max speed. Yes, I do use my boosters.
But when a Gigas uses it's boosters and your Deff uses it's boosters and the Gigas moves twice as fast as you do, switching from way down below to way up high above you, something is fishy.

it seems to last longer than the speedup powerup too.

Problem #4: Damage Control
Why is it that even with my shield up, I get drained of life ultra fast -"hit!" "hit!" "crash!" "hit!"-
While I shoot and strike some of my targets successfully but see -"Guard" "Guard"-, and their life bar doesn't get reduced?
What are they doing?

Problem #5: Credits Earned
When I defeat a mech, I'm awarded 20 credits.
Why is it that when an AI mech beats me they earn 60 credits?

What are methods to earn credits faster?

Problem #6: Invisible Collisions
The Deep Blue Sky map has no obstacles or collition hasards.
Why the hell do I sometimes see "Crash!" bubbles pop up from my mech when I'm clearly not bumping into anything?

I'm not bumping into the edges of the map. I can tell when I do.

Does the word "Crash" signify something other than a collision in the game?
