So I was out on my monthly pilgrimage to get some new picks (I have no idea where the other ones are. there's got to be a drawer somewhere with like a hundred picks in it.) and I decided to get some new, different ones. I like the dunlop Ultex ones, they're flexy but firm. Anyways, what is everyone's favorite pick?

Dunlop Tortex .73mm, .88mm, and some Fender ones are good too.

Fender Heavy. Either the celluloid or the california style. I tend to break thinner ones.

my personal favorite are Pickboy heavys. i had these ones that are black, with white polkadots and its got a weird coating so its easier to grip without dampening the string. plus i like randy rhodes, so the polka dots were a plus.....

I use the Jim Dunlop Gels. There's some kind of neat feel to them. I also use the Jim Dunlop Jazz III picks, which are those short stubby ones that work great for metal... who knew?

I use whatever i find lying around. No, really. If I find a pick lying on the ground or floor in my school or elsewhere, i pick it up, and stick it in my keychain pick holder. Then, when i get home, i put them in my pick stash. I've got to havel ike 20 mismatched picks (most around the medium range, all different materials), and like 15 of them are missing at a time. However if you must know brands, I tend to like using Fender Heavy celluloid picks, as well as Dunlop Tortex 1's. I might give the Jazz IIIs a try though, since i due a lot of metal now.

I haven't worn any of mine down, but I do use Hard and X-H pics.
