Just a question.
I have found this to be true in any anime fan collection:
80% of people are bi -Mostly girls...a few guys-
10% gay -once again..mostly girls-
10% straight -Almost no girls...I think I'v met 1..-
What are you, if you don't mind.
Me: Lesbain. -Why I'm so attached to Anthy/Utena. Me an d my GF are prety much the same why. Me being like Utena her like Anthy. It's funny how alike we are-

I'm straight, but I'm very open about accepting other people's sexuality and I still adore the series so much that it's still my favorite, even after a few years of exposure to many other animes.

Lol *huggles Kintana* I don't think it's very weird at all about a straight girl liking Utena. Of course, I'm pretty sure that I'm the odd one when it comes to me and my friends, even though all of us are weird and most of us like anime, I'm the only one who such a fan of Utena.
I think the main reason I like the show is because it has soo many layers to peel away and try to understand. I still don't think I've caught everything in it, but I'm to the point of mainly understanding it.

Thats why I feel inlove with it.
It's not odd I just find it interesting.
I only have the frist saga...sadly I need to see the rest. I have the pwtty box set--my GF gave it to me for a b-day gift. She got me the other 2 but they are on backorder....so we have to waite.

I'm also straight but i have a lot of friends who are bi and some that might be gay but i don't really care because it doesn't matter if your bi,gay, or straight all that matters is UTENA! 3nodding xd

I'm straight, married actually. I like the series, my husband hates it. It's a very interesting series though, and I like how the different characters all seem to have different aggressive, non-aggressive personailities/sexualities.

I am in the confused beyond all belife catogory. I love a guy but like girls but love the guy....so I guess I am bi...
I didn't love Utena for that though and my friends who where striaght gave me the manga. I loved it because I felt each side of everyone's story. (It was the animated soap opera!)
I can simplfy it down to a few words. "I loved it because it was Utena."

I think that's why most fans like it. There's so much going on with all the characters that there just about has to be something relatable for everyone.
