I've been coming across various music artists lately that seem the sort of thing Alice fans might enjoy... So now, I'm going to begin posting about them! surprised
If anyone thinks there's a music artist out there that you think might strike a chord with Alice fans, go ahead and post something about them, so that we can have conversations on what we think about their music, personal lives, and tastes in clothing! ^^

Leslie & the LY's To quote the Junk Magazine website: Quote: She wears eighties throwback gem sweaters and gold pants. Always. She can't sing, she can't rap, her lyrics are usually pointless and often include shout-outs to grandma and grandpa. Why then, you ask, is she growing so quickly in popularity? Because this is some serious s**t. Leslie Hall one of the most entertaining people in underground music today. She's taken hip hop beats and hardcore nature, the disgust factor of electroclash, mainstream pop hooks and song structures, and turned them all on their heads to create a spoof of musical trends that holds its own in entertainment value next to the big names. Doesn't hurt that she's more of a character than Eric Cartman. Click here and listen to the song ZOMBIE KILLERS. It's the song that hooked me. 3nodding Also, here's a music video of the song Gem Sweater. The lyrics completely crack me up. You see me now I'm like a fireball Gem gem gem gem gem gem gem gem sweater With these shoulder pads I have the strength To destroy villages homes and crops xd Their website: http://www.lesliehall.com/index12.htm

Dresden Dolls The two music videos were the first thing I saw of Dresden Dolls, and I became an instant fan. The more I learned about them, the more I grew to like them, and I think there's something about them that will appeal to the dark side in many Alice fans. The music videos were: Coin-Operated BoyGirl AnachronismAnd their website: http://www.dresdendolls.com/

yes, the dresden dolls were my first chice for alice fans. truly an amazing band live. hands down, they have the best stage performance of any other band i've seen. I also got brian and amanda to sign the inside of my derby last time i saw them in LA my second is a band by the name of Rasputina.
currently they are two electric cello players and a drummer.
*hunt's for some cool photos*.... can't find any really good ones but here's the website, www.rasputina.com

I like celtic music along with new age and classical. *wonders if im the only one crying * My favorite celtic singer is Loreena McKennitt her website is here. My favorite Celtic band is Clannad but the lead female singer went solo so its now just Moya Brennan. The Clannad site is here. and Moya is here. I have a lot of New Age favorites but I'll just name one. The band is called Enya and their site is here.

don't worry, you're not the only one, i really enjoy Enya as many of the songs can get really dark but most of her stuff is upbeat.

I am passionately fond of classical music. I probably listen to more classical than all the other genres combined. sweatdrop
I don't get exposed to new sorts of music that often, but I usually like it if it's good. *glomps Celtic music and Enya* And it is good! I am listening to it right now! ^^
I went to Rasputina's site, and they look (and from what I've heard of the clips, sound) verreh cool. And, of course, we all know who Garbage is. xd
@Raven_Cry: The music videos don't show up! crying I went and found their Myspace, though, and I think I've been listening to them already and just didn't know their name! surprised

one of the bands i just found out about is called, Sad Little Stars
i saw their music video at the dresden dolls mini show
www.thesadlittlestars.com
if you don't mind the casual cuss words,
watch the music video for, 'Don't F*ck with Love', it's a pop-up book!
and as for classical, i've been immersed in the masters such as Bach and Chopin since i was born as i come from a musical family.

blaugh I'm not the only one!!!!! Most my friends are into hardcore rock, and emo *bleh* Hardly any of my friends listen to what I listen to. I used to like rock but i have never liked emo. I don't understand what makes emo music emo but oh well. Don't ask me why I made such a dramatic change in music for I do not know confused
@Kibeth: I am overjoyed that you enjoy the music that I also enjoy and think it is enjoyable 4laugh
