Because I am thinking of starting one, I don't know really how it would turn out, though. I am trying to do one offline as well, but it's very difficult, so I want to co-own the Dice RP with whomever wants to join me. If you don't know what a Dice RP is (or a Paper and Pen RP) think of Dungeons and Dragons, kinda like that.

So, I am looking for people to give ideas for what it should be (It's going to be fantasy, I got that far... a little like Druidawn (a Paper and Pen RP we did in school one time...) so if you have any ideas for creatures, pleaces, people, post 'em up here, and we'll go from there!)

Pretty much, it's going to take a ot more than one person thinking of all the ideas, so I want you to post any ideas you may have up here, and we'll debate them. (Mind you, if someone already posts something, don't post it again with different info, unless I strike down the first idea...) Also, when we have all the places in mind, I will be looking for someone with much better cartography skills than myself (because I am terrible with map reading/making) to make a map of the world if they want to.

If you have any ideas whatsoever, please, please post them here! Thank you!

I know, I'm the starter of this thread, and therefore, my ideas really don't count, but I want to have a set in stone leveling scale, because those give people a lot of grief if not planned correctally...

First of all, there are 100 levels for you to level up in, ranging from 1-100 (shocking, isn't it?) You level up through different things, for example, winning difficult battles, getting through a dungeon/maze, stuff like that, so it's relatively easy, also, this is how the Dice scale works:

When you are using dice, the number of dice, and the sides of dice, depend on your level, as you level up, you get higher numbers and more sided dice!

Lvl. 1-14= 1, 4 sided Dice
Lvl. 15-28= 2, 6 sided Dice
Lvl. 29-42= 3, 8 sided Dice
Lvl. 43-56= 4, 10 sided Dice
Lvl. 57-70= 5, 12 sided Dice
Lvl. 71-84= 6, 20 sided Dice
Lvl. 85-100= 7, 100 sided Dice

OK, this is what each one means:

Lvl. 1-14:
1= Unsecussful (In battle, your hit misses and you get hurt)
2-4= Sucessful (In battle, you hit works, and damages your enemy.)

Lvl. 15-28:
1-3= Unsecussful
5-12= Sucessful

Lvl. 29-42:
1-6=Unsucessful
7-24= Sucessful

Lvl. 43-56:
1-10= Unsecussful
11-40= Sucessful

Lvl. 57-70:
1-15= Unsecussful
16-60= Sucessful

Lvl. 71-84:
1-30= Unsecussful
31-120= Sucessful

Lvl. 85-100:
1-175= Unsecussful
176-700= Sucessful

Sounds Like a great idea! But one question though. How would you map out the dungeons (SP?) And the actually hit points of monsters, the damge done, etc. As well as the exp table? If you need help, I'd be glad to give advice (On the exp table that is) And possible a set exp per 1 dmg done.

eek You have obviously done all this before... yes, I am not entirely sure what the hit points of each enemy will be yet, and if you want to do an Expiriance Table, be my guest, just post it up!

Well, the hitpoints should be based on the lvl. And I shall work on an exp table.

Whootness! Well, all you really need to do is give me any ideas you have, just post them here, like for example, if you want to use a creature, just put down the name, and a (detailed, preferrably) discription!

I also think that your character should have triats, you know, like Strength, Defense, stuff like that, and then when you begin at level 1, you have a certain amount of points to disperse amoung the traits, and you gain more as you level up! (Any ideas for traits?)

Current Traits:

Strength
Defense
Aim
Agility (Speed)
Stamina (Hit points!)
Weapon Skill
Magic Skill
Intelligence

Speed= Agility, but I'll put speed in ( ), so people know what we're talking about!

well, agility is the ability to switch directions fast (according to Ms. McConnel....lol)

Intelligence is one
what about endurance?

In my eyes, speed=agility...

endurance=defense, or stamina, depends on what you think

intelligence is a good one!
