why is it there? i mean we're talking about gettin more active members and all so why is it there? i personlly think it should be gone.....like theres a guy who has been waiting to be accepted cus he doesnt have enough gold! he's been waiting for like 2 weeks! gosh!

... I get like, 1000 gold every two days... sheesh... 50 isn't that much... although I have to admit, we have so much gold in the guild funds right now...

Well, it shows that 'that guy' isn't even active enough on Gaia to get a 50 gold. It isn't hard at all. I even sent him a pm the first day I saw his request; So he knows why he isn't being accepted. ((The fact that he has not even opened that pm yet tells me that he hasn't been on Gaia in awhile, or.. likes to ignore pms..? )) The gold fee amount may be a bit silly, but it helped this guild get all the subforums; Even if we have quite a large fund now, I'd say 50 g isn't going to be a big dent in anybody's purses.

I agree with anime. I tried accepting him. the dude says he is xx_deathlords mule or something... I do not know. But the guild fee is a nessecity. i mean your well being won't be harmed if you join.
i think it should stay as it is. i mean 50 gald is not something to cry about in my eyes.

Yeha... if you're too lazy to get 50g (do 5 polls in the chatterbox) then you're not active enough to get in. I mean, if it's taken 2 weeks and he can't get 50g.. I dunno, that seems really hard to do.

ok but what about the people that dont join places just cus they'res an entry fee? i mean they look at guilds and think 'this is nice i might join' then they see an entry fee and they're like 'oh this guild is too strick i dont like it'. im sure we missed at least 4 people cus of that

Like Sumi said, 50g isn't a lot. People wouldn't want to join a guild if the entry fee was somewhere near 1000g or so. ^^;

exactly! Lowering the entry fee doesn't do anything to help, because the fee itself isn't that much. I have yet to find a truly good guild (like this one) that doesn't have at least a 50g entry fee (although I've only seen a few). As Kuma said, it would have to be like around 1k for it to really turn people away. Otherwise, the people are just lazy bums and don't really want to join the guild at all.

Like, 50g isn't enough to make me not want to join. Cause I know they have a good reason. We posted why we have the entery fee on the guild home page.

Not to mention we have at least 5 poll sin the guild. They can just get it right back by joining.
It's not a hard thing at all; as everyone has said, 50g isn't much at all. It may make people want to be a littl emore active as well, since they had to give up gold, no matter how small the cost, to get in.
Trust me, we could be a lot more strict. Especially on a few things. XP'
