Frigid Flurry continued to wander after her ‘battle’ with Remy. She wondered if she would ever see him again. He was the only one apart from her brother that had seemingly started to melt her icy front. She wondered how her brothers were doing, she had never met one of them, it seemed she had wandered from her family when she had come out of her basket, so she new neither of her parents, nor one of her brothers.
She sighed and shook her mane and walked on. Why dwell on such matters, she would see them again she was sure. Though, no….they were not here so it was pointless to wonder about it. She looked up at the stormy clouds and nods, figure it would rain when she was in a more cold mood, now just a little cold wind would make the day appeal to her.
As long as no one started to bother her this day might cheer her up. She chuckled to her self watching the way the clouds made shadows on the ground she walk instead of her ways.

Takoda pranced along, humming happily to herself. She ahd picked up the habit from her father who loved to sing and dance. She wasn't keen on dancing but humming was nice. She looked up at the skies and watched soft fluffy dark clouds fill the skies, promising relief from the summer's heat. A cool breeze swept her mane and whipped it around wildly. A storm was coming. She smiled at the thought. The land did need a good rainfall and she had taken a liking to watching the thunderstorms. Delicately it began,
padding the soft green grass. She looked around for a safe place to watch the storm when she noticed an icy wind mare a short distance off..she tilted her head as she watched her and curiousity like her father got the best of her. She headed off in the mare's direction at a canter, quickly closing the distance between them as flashes of lightning beautifully streaking the heavens.

Frigid Flurry's mane was easily picked up in the cool wind and flowed like the wind itself. She did not seem to mind as the soft drops of rain started to be at her infact they seemed to nearly freeze when the touched her skin.
With two flashes of lightly her eyes turned thier cold glance to the dark figure she saw coming towards her. She sighed and watched the little one getting closer. She had only turned her neck and head every other part of her body, with the execption of her mane and tail seemed frozen. Well the day had been looking up. Maybe this little foal would just run by her leaving her alone to the coming storm.

Takoda was close to the frozen looking amre now. She looked as if to be made of snow and ice! How delightful. She smiled as she approached, her sterling orbs shining with kindness. She stopped once she was facing the mare and eyed the darkening clouds and flashes of lightning. It was then the thunder crackled and echoed, booming throughout the land. The rain began to fall heavier now, nourishing the earth as it did so. She could feel the gentle trickles of water running down her body, refreshing her as if she herself was the earth. "A beautiful sight. We've needed a storm like this for some time. " he spoke softly, her voice ringing with a gentle tone. The humid air began to cool and she closed her eyes, humming softly as she enjoyed the rain on her back. She opened her eyes again, his time to introduce herself. "My name is Takoda." and that was all she said, as she stood there watching the mare, taking in the sight of her. She looked so pretty, like an icy figurine.

Frigid Flurry's dull eyes took in the filly her neck turning to face forward at the little one infront of her as she moved. When the tunder crash loudly not even a muscle moved. "I believe we did...its a good way to brighten the day..." she said her voice had a musical tone to it like icecels clinking agnest one another, though not in the happy sing song way Takoda's voice was.
This little one was almost as friendly as her brother, though alittle more happy and straight forward...like his friend. She heaved a shallow sigh and felt the rain cooling her body more. "Do you always tell strangers your name...and barge in on thier personal thoughts?"

Takoda's ears perked as the icy mare spoke, her voice as cold and frigid as she appeared. She smiled again, " Yes a storm like this is a lovely way to brighten a day. I can't imagine why most hide from such days and storms as this" She tilted her head curiously, studying the mare a bit closer. She looked so sad, this lovely mare. She wondered what could have trapped her heart and emotions in such an icy prison. "My name yes. I believe it to be polite to introduce myself. I was raised I should always do so. If I intruded on your thoughts I appologize. You looked interesting and upon closer inspection, perhaps in need of a friend and a smile?" she phrased the last sentence to be a question by the change in her voice. She hoped not to offend the mare, but she spoke her mind always, just usually in a kind gentle manner.

She watched Takoda as teh filly spoke. "Were you not seeking shelther before you stumbled onto me?" Frigid Flurry took a guess at what the foal had been doing. She nods, "I see...well I am in no need for a smile. This day is fixing anything that may have been wrong." Her mind flashed back wondering if her brother was able to warn thier family in time....though she could not remember why they needed to warm them.
Shaking her head a bit, her mane flowing wildly and sprinkling iced rain to the ground, "And I do not think that you would have the means to make me smile. it is not something everyone needs to do." Her eyes and voice cold.

"Only enough to stay out of the lightning's way when it crashes. I wouldn't want to be a fried piece of meat." Takoda chuckled and winked at the mare. "It is good to hear you are well then or rather fixing what was wrong. I would hate to see one such as you sad or upset. You have such a lovely appearance." Takoda merely brushed off the mare's coldness as not knowing her and perhaps not wanting to tell a stranger everything. But she knew the mare was not fully telling her the truth and she intended to stay with her and perhaps care for her. "Perhaps not but I can try. May I inquire as to your name?"

Frigid Flurry arcked a brow, "One such as me? I am no different from any other." she said in a monotoned away. Thank you for your attempt at a compliment. But again my apperance is as lovely as anyone else's. She sighed, "alright, I belive you should get out of the rain..."
She turned and as her her hoves touched the ground flars of ice and snow. She lead the foal to a large tree to take shealther under, "My name is Frigid Flurry."

Takoda chuckled. "Oh but you are very unique. I've never seen one so frozen as if made of ice itself. Its a breathtaking sight to see." She grinned at the mare and pranced alongside her as she lead the way. "But the rain is lovely and feels so nice on my back. But I will honor your request." She shook her body of any excess water soaked into her coat and flittered her wet wings. "Such a pretty name, Frigid Flurry"

The mare rolled her dull eyes, this little one was a chatter. She nods, "You can still go in and out of the rain...but I am sure your parents would not like you being a risk to your own health." She said softly.
Slow she shook off the forzen rain off her body. "I am sure if you say my father...or was it my mother? Oh well if you saw any of my family you would see I am the same as them. Thank you for saying so, does your name mean anything?"

"My parents?" Takoda laughed softly. "They'd be out playing in it. Such big children they are. Sometimes I think I'm babysitting them. Its not too cold a rain so it feels nice, but thank you for the concern." Takoda watched the mare shake icy rain off of her...strange how it had turned to ice after touching her. "Well I am sure they too are one of a kind. I've never seen or heard of being so much like ice or snow even." She smiled, tilting her head slightly. "My name means Friend to everyone. They said it suited me as I seem to befriend everyone I meet."

"I see, well go on and enjoy it then." She said and laid down. "I would not know what they are like. Like I said I ran away from them." She sighed and rolled her dull eyes, "Well arn't you lucky that you make friends so easily." She flicked her tail and was now on her level. She looked up at the rain and watched it fall. It was very nice.

Takoda's ears perked as Frigid spoke. "Ran away?? but why? Did they not love you?" She watched the mare lay down and could now see her face to face. "Well its not always easy, some soquilis are stubborn. But anything worth pursuing takes a little while." She smiled and trotted over to the icy mare, wanting to touch the icy coat. She softly nuzzled at her mane, it was so cold! indeed this mare was something of the likes she had never seen before. She kept her eyes on Frigid as the mare watched the rain. "I hope you can be my friend. I'd like to be yours." And with that she laid down next to her, snuggling into the cold body.
