Rules and guidelines:

So here at the Mind Games Guild, we want to build a community of gamers who respect one another, but have the ability to discuss topics on gaming and other such things. I personally feel that rules don’t need to be made or read out loud, cause we all should be mature and serious about these things, but to those who forget and/or those who need to know, here they are:

arrow No tolerance for any racial, sexist, homophobic etc. comments and/or anything said that is out to insult a person. Of course, if you are joking around with one and other, go ahead and have fun.

arrow Swearing is fine as long as it’s not directed at another person and not blown out of proportion.User Image

arrow When posting any image, keep it clean. If I’m having a bad day and I see a really nasty picture, I will kick you out. With all things in life, use common sense. The same goes for links and what not.

arrow No insulting one and other, especially if you insult someone for the taste in games or music or whatever the case may be. You can explain why you don’t like the specific subject, but don’t insult the actual person.

arrow Topics and posts really need some beef in them; I don’t want any half a** threads here. Make a subject, make a discussion, allow others to answer and make it very interactive, smart, and fun. If I or any of the moderators here find a thread to be really weak, will either delete it or fix it up. Also please put effort into your replies.

More rules will be added if needed and feel free to contact me or and of ours mods for any concern or help involved in the guild. There will also be an FAQ section post, which help one and other with situations regarding the rules.

*note*
These rules will seem like common sense to many of the original guild members, but I'm posting it anyway incase someone is not quite sure with were they should post how much they love Project Gotham Racing 3.
*end note*

POSTING RULES FOR THE TMGG GUILD, FOLLOW THEM OR BE FLAMED.

For a brief and entertaining overview of what I want everyone to please click on this, just replace all instances of "Steam Forum(s)" with "The Mind Games Guild"

Now, if you watched the flash movie (which you most likely did NOT), the speaker made some very important points. The most notable of them:

1: WILL YOUR THREAD CONTRIBUTE?
-If you have an opinion, back it up with reason.
-If you have a question, please give us enough information so we can help.
-If you just need to say something, post it in the chatter box.

2: HAS THE THREAD BEEN POSTED BEFORE?
Before the Mod crew and I get bitter from moving threads, here's a little piece of important info:
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO POST A NEW ONE.

Now, just in case you didn't get it, I'll make it big and red.

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO POST A NEW ONE.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO POST A NEW ONE.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO POST A NEW ONE.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO POST A NEW ONE.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO POST A NEW ONE.

3: ARE YOU IN THE RIGHT SUB-FORUM?
If you're posting in the wrong place, I will move it. Once or twice maybe even three (if you're new) times is alright, I'll move it for you and tell you not to do it. Convenient right? Wrong. Do you like picking up other people's stuff for free? I sure as hell don't, I'm a mover, I'm PAID to move junk and even THEN I don't like it. So I'm putting my foot down: Continual acts of idiocy will be met with THREAD DELETION. Don't cry about it, don't whine. The sub-forums are just half an inch above the new thread button.

Follow the rules and I won't be a jerk, Do you think I like yelling at noobs? Well, yes I do, but it gets boring quite fast. It's really simple. If you need help, ASK FOR IT. There are plenty members who would be willing to help you if you are courteous enough to ask.
