talk about baseball games here. there are some good series coming up:
Red Sox vs. Tigers
Giants vs. Padres
Cards vs. Reds
Angels vs. Yanks
Dodgers vs. Marlins

yankees won and i saw that game jeter had a hell of a game he went 3-4 with a double, a single, and a homer all he needed was a triple for the cycle.

yup, he did play very well. hats off to Randy Johnson, who became just the third pitcher in baseball history to reach at least 4500 K´s. the only others to reach that feat are Roger Clemmens, 4552, and Nolan Ryan, the Strikeout King who recorded 5714 K´s in his career.
here are the results of those big games:
Giants 1, Padres 0
Dodgers 4, Marlins 2
Tigers 7, Red Sox 4
Yankees 7, Angels 2
Cards and Reds didn´t have a game yesterday! xd sorry about that, guys. they play tonight in St. Louis as Aaron Harang, 12-7 with a 3.66 ERA, takes on Chris Carpenter, 10-6 with a 3.27 ERA.

so far today the Yanks have beaten Boston 12-4 and the Cards finally won at Wrigley after 8 tries, clubbing 6 homers and beating the Cubs 11-3. the Bo Sox and Yanks play again tonight, as Sidney Ponson, 4-5 with a 5.82 ERA, takes on phenom John Lester, 6-2 with a 4.09 ERA.

forget lester the yanks are going to win again hands down i mean did u see how bad they killed the red soxs i mean the bo soxs couldnt capitalize with runners in scoring position they went 0-16 with runners on.
