Some of my old work (If I decide to make a story Ill put it in another thread)
"Hourglass"
My body is but an hourglass
"Ticking away the time
My soul is the looking glass
Silent like a mime
My body will die
When the sands will fall
But my soul will continue
Joining with them all
But like any hourglass
It will soon flip over
I will come back after this sand has gone
So stay true and enjoy your life
It will soon be gone.
"Little Boy"
Little boy, hurtful past,
dosent join in with the rest of the class.
When the teachers ask him "why?"
He just replies, "I'll never cry..."
He can take a hit, care to wager?
He can beat you, full of hatred.
The beast inside a great big favor.
Please dont get this little boy mad
or a trophy, your head he'll have.
"Dusk till' Dawn" (sequel to "Little Boy")
Wandering man, troubled past
saw the light in a passing glance.
He met a woman, long brown hair.
He protects her from great despairs.
Though they knew it
they spoke no word.
Lovers sound they had heard.
Acts to fight so no one knows.
Lady grows large, like friends and foes
As the two raise there spawn.
Father gets shot, now he's gone.
Little boy now big and strong,
protects his mother from dusk till dawn.
Flower In The Heart"
I had a dream, in a city of darkness...
You were all that shined.
You told me of a flower that grows in the heart.
Slowly I began to relize
The world falling apart.
Give a little strength to this new born love
So that I may bloom the flower in my heart.
And reach up, to the sky...
...So that I might be with you when I die.

Hourglass is very good. With some fixing up, it could be great.
