Why doesn't anybody appreciate the classics anymore. No one remembers the good ones that started it all without them we wouldn't know the word fear.

What do you mean? Everyone likes the older Horror movies the best. Well, mostly. Everyone I've talk to either know nothing about horror or they like the crap like House of 1000 Corpses. I like Rob Zombie, but that was just stupid and demented.

I agree that the threads that say movies like House of Wax and Texas Chainsaw Massacre really piss me off in this guild. When I first saw those links I was like "Ooh we're going to talk about the originals because this is the horror guild where people are supposed to know horror." Then when I clicked on them I was just like "Why are you guys in this guild if you're link goes to this crap and you've never seen the original." I hate people like that.

Well you know to most people classics come from Brad Pitt and Tom Cruiz. I my opinon they can't act to save their life.

And also they think Alien and Perditor are horror to me those are just sci-fi movies that can't make the right choice of what genre they want to be in.

I love Rosemary's baby.
But, we also forget the film-noir/horror flicks such as Strangers on a Train and Sunset Boulevard. those are GREAT!

Psycho is my favourite, definately, and I just love Alfred Hitchcock in general. His "Vertigo" was a masterpiece, though more of a thriller than horror.
I also really liked the Exorcist. Poltergeist was a good one to watch, but I didn't really get scared. I just tried to figure out if Drew Barrymore was on drugs at the time.
eek I actually OWN the silent version of Phantom of the Opera. It's just plain awesome.
