A while back I googled this subject. I copyed a bunch of stuff down, and e-mailed it to myself. Though I was saved the sources to my comp. (yea, I'm weird.) anyway, I blewp my comp today (deleted the whole memory) and I haven't got the sources, but I've got a HUGE stones list.

Adamite:
Blue, blue-green, yellow-green. Brings gifts of heart & mind together for
balance, inner strength, and steering steadily through life. Creativity &

Blue: Creativity, throat, mouth, ears, breath of life, lymph. Green: Lungs,

Agate:

higher self, disattachment, psychicness, spiritual love, joy, and luck.
Excellent tissue regeneration; especially Central Nervous System.
Amazonite:
Solid Lt. Blue/turquoise. Gentle Friendly, calming, soothing; Opens throat,
heart, and solar plexus centers for self-expression, artistic creativity,
healing. Throat, thyroid, nerve and Brain paths. Reduces self-damaging
behavior, increases straight posture of self-respect, confidence, grace,
self-assuredness with communication.
Amber:
Clear yellow or orange ancient petrified resin (possibly pine tree).
Electromagnetic. Opens solar plexus chakra for mental clarity, moods
balance, confidence. Stomach anxiety, spine, Central Nervous System, brain,
memory loss, cell regeneration. Aligns mental and emotional bodies via
orange and yellow CTRS. Excellent detoxification and protection from

Medium blue to white crystals. Fairly newly discovered. Psychic connection

Apache Tears:
Small, dark, smoky-translucent Obsidian pebbles. Eases and releases pain,

Aqua Aura:
Clear quartz with metallic light blue tint from electrical infusion of gold
(amplifies quartz conductivity.) Increases ability to send energy & alter
consciousness for meditation, telepathy, healing. Opens/clears throat.
Aquamarine:
A beryl. Clear light blue, blue-green. Tranquilizing, uplifting, openness,

Iron-magnetite concretion. Solid round, grey-brown discs with high iron.

(Store boji's apart -magneticness neutralizes eachother. Also
wearing/holding with tiger's eye or other stone containing asbestos may

Clear/misty white to brown. Helps us be centered, confident, capable and
versatile amidst life's challenges. Grounding to here/now and higher self.

Letting go (stress, addictions..) Insomnia, Central Nervous System,

Purple, solid. Newly coming into greater use. Works with Indigo & violet
CTRS to transmute/lift us out of emotions, fear. Seeing old patterns with

for entity release work and alcohol/liver detoxification.
Chrysoberyl:
Translucent Gold or Green Cat's Eye (often confused with qtz. Tiger's Eye,
but rarer). Usually clear, green or green/brown, nongreasy. For acquiring
more prosperity. Confidence, self-pride, healing. Amplifies other gems
(NOTE: Some are irradiated to turn green- trust your feeling with each

Chrysocolla/Gem Silica:
Solid Lt. blue/blue-green. Gentle, soothing, friendly. Excellent for heart

I have a fairly good sized list as well, but I believe almost all if not all of it would be repeats.
^^ I also have a decent collection of gemstones. Including the stereotypical crystal ball. I saw it and I just couldn't resist. It's small .. maybe a votive candle-holder sized ball but it's rather cool.
Now if I could only figure out how to use it properly I'd be set .. sweatdrop
xd You have Herkimer Diamonds on there... they come from New York and I've been to the place and dug them up myself.

Rocks are cool and totally rule biggrin do you beleive that everyone has a special rock that signifies them I do and it's AMYTHYST the best rock also the first in my collection biggrin

I have recently gotten into the study of crystals and gems and such. So far I have been really attracted to Rose Quartz. I recently sent a friend a present, and with that send her some stones of her own. I was worried she wouldnt like them because she has been getting back into Christianity (basically just going to church and such). Well here is what she said. Quote: This is the point where I started to cry. The cards were little info cards on a bunch of different crystals (which I later found in a purple velvet drawstring bag), and each crystal had healing properties that were very obviously specifically chosen to suit my current needs. I had never thought that anyone would take the time to really look at my life, look at my problems, look at my struggles, and buy beautiful stones to cater to each... much less even CARE about them. I was so overwhelmed by the knowledge that here were two people who care about me so much that they know exactly what I need, exactly when I need it. (Laura, I've probably cracked jokes about you bein g psychic before, but this is really something.) A cleansing mask, lavender body wash, a bunchy of feathers (which I'm gonna make into a toy for my kitty!) and LOTS AND LOTS OF GLITTER came afterward, along with an enticing and intoxicating potpourri of which I couldn't quite place the scent. But I must say, the crystals were the most impactful gift I have ever received. I wanted to carry them around in my pockets all day, but I was worried they would be lost or broken... When I went to Old Town Sac the next day, I looked all over for teeny amulet pouches so I could hang them around my neck and carry them with me all the time; I think I may have found one I like, I'll have to go back for it later. That was my warm and fuzzy for the day, but I mostly wanted to share it because crystals and other stones can be great gifts for all sorts of people. I sent her three rose quartz, three amethyst, a worry stone, and a peice of amber.

Wow that's an extensive list. I've not used stones, other than hematite/hemalyke and amythist...never really knew what to DO with them, whatever their properties...focus through them, hold them with me? A good, relativly inexpensive place to get strands and points of most stones is Fire Mountain Gems. It's a jewlers site, for those who are interested.
