Charrie Information/Ideas Character Name: Elizabeth Ivy
Character Age: 17
Character Appearance (Human): A short girl, Elizabeth would be petite were it not for her large hips and somewhat large chest. She stands at around five foot three, weighing around 120 pounds. Her hair is a dirty blonde color with red high lights due to her constant need to dye it an unnatural orange color. Indeed, it has been dyed so many times that it appears positively orange now. Though Elizabeth’s hair is waist length, it is so tangled and very often not incredibly clean that people don’t truly realize it’s true… beauty (AKA stringy goodness). Her eyes are a sea blue in color mixed amply with grey, with a dash of green. Her smile is crooked-one side always rising before the other, and due to the fact she has always worn glasses, her nose has a bump. She is afflicted with the typical teenage acne, though Elizabeth manages to gain some control over it to keep her with only a minor "pizza face". Her body is not in the best of shape, though her arms are quite muscular due to archery. As an overall skin tone, Elizabeth has what is best described as “British” skin- pale, almost pasty, with only the slightest hint of color in her cheeks and frequently sunburned nose. Essentially, she's a curvy English kid.
Her hair style choice reflects the punk-prep outlook she tries to project with every clothing choice she makes, as explained below. However, despite the fact she has unkempt hair, people would be ashamed if they didn't notice the artfully smudged black eyeliner- too perfectly smudged to be truly punk, and the light pink lipgloss.
Character Personality: Elizabeth has been gifted with a higher than normal intelligence, though it is hampered with the fact she has also been granted a stubborn will power similar to that of a donkey. As such, if she does not want to do something, she simply will not do it, leading her to skip some assignments, and teachers to sigh in exasperation.. A highly social creature, Elizabeth thrives on being with her friends constantly-when alone, she grows nervous and paranoid, skittish of any loud noises. She is a hand talker- that is; she always makes broad gestures when speaking. Her flair for being overdramatic leads many to hate her, and others to love her. Above all, Elizabeth is known for her sense of humor- biting, sarcastic, and black. Nothing is sacred to her, and she plays upon the shock value of some of her jokes.
Elizabeth is very much a party girl- if someone is having a party, she arrives perfectly late to be on time, always wearing a new outfit, always ready. Though she avoids drugs, she indulges in the occasional drink. Her school reputation rides on her "party girl" status, leaving much of her very personal life buried under her quite enjoyable facade. In truth, Elizabeth enjoys archery, fencing, Renaissance Faires- not that she could tell her friends. It would ruin her carefully cultivated appearance. To her friends, she is the eternal ideal of the fashion trend at the time- punk-prep. It explains a great deal of her appearance, as well as her own clothing choices. Colored shirts in bright or pastel colors, flavored with black pants with chains, proudly proclaiming "punk princess" across the back. The arm bands, mixed artfully with certain Bohemian earrings. There is a balance to being the queen of the school's parties, and Elizabeth has achieved that- at least she has, most of the time.
Elizabeth's dramatics tend to turn away as many people as she attracts, as she tends to blow things out of proportion. Someone taking her seat is a travesty; her best friend talking to someone else is betrayal. A boy saying hello to her is love- everyone lives on a grandiose scale, so typical of high school students. People tend to be drawn to this personality, or revolted, saying that she behaves like a spoiled toddler, which indeed, she tends to do. The truth is, Elizabeth has a great amount of insecurity due to the circumstances in which she was raised and how she has lived. Thus it is that she hides her ‘other life’.
Elizabeth is, when out of school, an utter fantasy and archery nerd. She is a devoted member of the local 4-H club in her district, taking ardent passion in the archery that the club offers, as well as trying her best in horseback riding. On weekends she even competes in some competitions, though not many; she doesn’t believe in her own ability to win. In her other spare time she reads fantasy and science fiction almost religiously, her favorite books being Anne McCaffrey’s Pern series. This secret never leaves her room, for the damage to her reputation would be too much. Elizabeth even dabbles in video games, sometimes spending many hours in the dark of her room battling evil foes.
Character Background: Sadly, Elizabeth lived a life that was less than perfect. Her father passed away when she was quite young- when she was around two or three years of age. Her mother could no longer stand staying in a house that reeked of memories, and moved her young child from Northern California to a suburb of Los Angeles. Despite the loss of her husband, Elizabeth’s mother found a transfer from her job as a plastic surgeon to another clinic.
If you could not already guess from the job Mrs. Ivy had, the family was quite wealthy, the insurance money from Mr. Ivy’s death making them more so. It was with this increased wealth and depression that Mrs. Ivy found her new refuge in life- the world of drugs and alcohol, in particular stimulants and tranquilizers. This was a habit picked up when Elizabeth was age ten, and lasted six long years to her current age of sixteen.
Because of her mother’s drug problems and, in consequence, verbal abuse, Elizabeth developed a constant need to prove herself and be the center of attention, leading to the drama queen personality. The problems also explain Elizabeth’s other side: the side that enjoys fantasy and objects from an ancient past. Within these, Elizabeth can immerse herself, finding solace in worlds that don’t exist, or existed long ago.
How does your Character get to/why was your character chosen for the Island?
There is only so long that a respected plastic surgeon can go on with having a drug problem and not having it noticed. Near Elizabeth’s seventeenth birthday, her mother’s ‘issues’ were discovered by a family friend concerned over the woman’s increasingly bizarre and erratic behavior.
It wasn’t long before Child Services came long and deemed Elizabeth’s mother unsuitable for taking care of a child. Elizabeth was thus sent to a shelter. After only a few short days there, a foster family took her. It was a family that went by the last name Moreau….
Moreau had been searching for people no one would miss. Elizabeth fell perfectly under this category. She had no relatives in California, and her fair weather friends quickly deserted her once the embarrassing situation with the drugs was revealed. Elizabeth was also of a sturdy frame, and looked mentally fit enough to withstand transformations. Whether she is or not is a matter for a later date…

Animal Information "The Japanese marten (Martes melampus) is a mammal in the marten genus most closely related to the sable. It is half a meter in length on average, not counting a 20-centimeter-long tail, and between 1000 and 1500 grams in weight. Males are generally larger than females. The pelage varies in color from dark brown to dull yellow with a cream-colored throat. Both males and females are territorial, the size of each individual's territory depending on food availability. The Japanese marten is omnivorous, preferring meat from fish, frogs, and small birds and mammals but consuming insects, fruit, and seeds when necessary. It sleeps in a den in a hollow tree or a ground burrow. There are three subspecies of Japanese marten: M. m. melampus lives on several of the Japanese islands. M. m. tsuensis is found on Tsushima Island, where it is legally protected. M. m. coreensis is found in North and South Korea."
Info from wikipedia.
Little is known about the Japanese marten at this time. They are solitary creatures, not well known beyond the bioligist circle. In winter, they are yellow with a silver mask, such as the creature in my banner. In summer, they have a black mask and paws.

I really like the party girl twist you threw in <3 It sets her apart a bit more from Alexa. However, if she was the party girl, dye her hair type, wouldn't she lean a bit towards the more gothicy aspects? In reading it I felt almost like the long, stringy, and basically orange and brunette hair lead more towards that. Perhaps more heavy metal, that sort of thing. Still fits in with the party girl outlook, and also ties in nicely with skipping classes/assignments occationally. I don't know if you're going for a punk/goth look or not, but if you are then I'd suggest emphasizing it a bit more.
Especially if she's a drama queen ;3 I see goths/punks flock together for being loud and daring, which I feel Elizabeth is. That's just my little suggestion. All in all, yes you've set a good degree between our two characters. Just thought I'd throw that comment out there to see what you might do with it.
