This is a great little anime about a high school boy who finds out that he is the reincarnation of a great exorcist and it is his duty to lead his people (the Uesugi Army) to victory over the netherworld war lords. There is a side story to the main plot that deals with the rocky relationship between the main character (Takaya aka. Kagetora) and his closest companion, Naoe. I think that it's a great anime that is worth the 6 1/2 hour watch.

I bought the first dvd. It seems really awesome ^_^ but I haven't seen the rest of the series. Have you? 3nodding question

they have a ova and the series version of Mirage of Blaze, which is better?

I saw both the series and the OVA...but the OVA was better.
