http://na.square-enix.com/dcff7/I've been waiting for this game for so long now, and it finally looks like it'll be coming out soon! What do you think? Will it be any good? I personally think so. Its FF so it got to be good, and its Vincent so its made of pure win. Of course this is coming from a fangirl, but who isnt in this guild anyhow? The graphics and animations look a little sub-par, though. Thoughts?

I'm a Vincent fangirl, and it's supposed to use a DMC type of engine for the gameplay, and I liked using guns in DMC3 for what little I played of it, so it's gonna be awesome to play DoC. biggrin

I'm REALLY looking forward to the targeting system and the customizable guns.
Also, opening cinema for DoC in my multimedia biggrin

I dont know, I heard sevreal bad things about it.
It never intrested me in the fisrt place.

Lost_Yokai ~i really want this game, but i suck at shooters-from the opening on your profile, the graphics look awesome!~ From what it looks like, the targeting system will be shooter-newb friendly, so no worries about that. And WOO! The release date is today! Apparently its supposed to take place right after Advent Children, which is why Yuffie is helping to clean up after the whole Bahamut Zero thing xD

I, too, have heard foul things about the game, but. I'll be giving it a shot. Though, to your "It's FF, it's got to be good comment", I feel the need to remind ye that X-2 was also an FF, and that blew. xD

Next on my gameQ at Gamefly (Which means I get to keep this FREEZING Clock Tower 3, to report a shipping problem on Thursday, so they send me it...
I've been lucky enough to play a Japanese import (Yes, I'm just that good)
the Third Person-shooter. I'm not used to them. But it is newb friendly, yes. (THank GOD!!!) an excellent game, I wouldn't turn it down!

I'm being "cautiously optimistic" I am a Vincent fangirl like many others heart but i'd hate to get my hopes up if its bad. I think its good they've branched out with a another character and in another platform. I'm just crossing my fingers and waiting patiently.

I'm probably going to buy the game just because I'm a huge Vincent fangirl. If it sucks, I can just give it to my little brothers (they will play anything that involves guns). So this is a win-win situation.

Second, the comment does fit, but it needs to be more specific. "It's FF 7, so it has to be good!" Just like anything with FF6 would be good as well. biggrin
