....I just realized how many Nii fans are in this guild, and it seems to me that it was about time that we all had our nice little Nii Shrine, dedicated to the man more perverted than Gojyo will EVER be!

Scientist in general, I believe. Though I may be wrong. 3nodding Even in his youth, he was a prodigy, whether it be in martial arts or his studies. He excelled in everything that was presented to him.
As for the change? He was responsible for the death of Komyou Sanzo. He needed to go into hiding, I guess. Who knows? It hasn't all been explained yet.

I went on a Saiyuki manga reading spree when you sent me all the scanlations of Gensoumaden. I tore through them all in like 2 days and then downloaded the Gaiden Vol.1 MangaCity had available.
It was all in the eyes, I think. I probably wouldn't have seen it if I hadn't just finished the Kami-sama arc. Nii's devious eyes staring out at me from Li Touten's face.
Creeeeeepy.
Besides, they're both power-hungry, unstable assholes deep down, right? heart
