Awesome! You'll be too far forward for the chandelier to fall on your head.
That'll be cool, I hope you have fun. Come back and tell us all about it.
(Although, for anyone going, I would suggest getting tickets further back so you can see the entire theatre. It's as good as the show, personally.)

LUCKY! Hopefully I'll get to see it in New York! But that's in a couple of months... So I'll just have to wait! But tell us all about it!

THe only reason it is shorter than the original is because they took out the intermission. No breaks = better play, better play = more happy people.

Yeah, no intermission sounds wonderful. I don't take breaks when I listen to the recordings either, anyway. I really want to go back to Vegas. (wasn't even in the works when I went there... burning_eyes )

I myself have seen it several times. It's amazing. The chandelier [which was built specifically for this rendition of Phantom] is worth a little over 5 million dollars. The play basically goes on the "good" chart just for having something to do with a chandelier that expensive. And yes, all that is really different is there's no information and the tempo is a bit faster. [and don't forget, the theatre was made specifically for the play, too.] It's awesome.
