[ Nyoka slithered up to the watering hole and stared at the water. The sun was setting and making the ripples shimmer in the golden light. Her red eyes taking in the beauty of it. She coiled up on the soft dirt that lined the watering hole, cooling her off slightly. This adventure she had agreed to come on had lasted longer than she expected. She missed her rock and hoped that there was nothing inhabiting it, even though it's entrance was small and hidden in the grass. Well, there was an upside to all of this. She had gotten to spend some time with Mkarag and with each passing day she learned how sweet he really was. She turned her head, "Where isss he?" She asked herself. ]

Mkarag slowly slipped out of the grass unfortunately occupied with some....knowledge gathering. However, lately, she has been on his mind. He even focused on her more rather than learning more. The past days proven that.
"Ssorry I am late, Nyoka." he apologized settling himself beside her body. "There wass thiss wierd bug courting another, I got lost. I'm ssorry." he apologized again.

[ She loved when he appologized. He always felt so bad for the littlest things that made her laugh. She had stopped trying to get him to stop saying sorry for nothing that was of importance. "It'sss fine." She said trying to hold back a giggle. The scales above her eyes raised slightly, "And what wasss thisss 'weird bug' like?" She wondered. She had only seen 'normal bugs' never anything out of the ordinary with them. She leaned on him with a quiet sigh. All that she could think about were eggs lately. They were just so soft and pretty to her, even though she had never had any of her own. ]

Mkarago licked her softly. "It looked like a butterfly with large great wingss. It fluttered around thiss ssmaller butterfly. It wass...interessting." he said, resting his head on her body. Since they met, theyhave grown closer together, beyond friends, and beyond best friends perhaps. She's been on his mind more than anything as of late. "Nyoka, do you like me?"

[ Nyoka tilted her head slightly wondering about this butterfly with big wings. She had never seen one that was very big before. She relaxed when his head was comfortably atop hers and smiled. She liked it when he did that. It made her feel safe. Mkarag's question puzzled her. "Oh courssse I like you. Who doessn't?" She didn't get wht kind of question that really was. ]

"No...I mean do you like me like me." he corrected, trying to make his question clearer. He had to know how she felt about him or else he would feel a little uneasy. This question kept plaguing his mind, his body, and heart. How did the female that he lived with felt about him? He knew he liked her more than a friend, but did she? "I have been thinking about ssome thingss lately."

[ Nyoka nodded. "Of coursse!" She nuzzled closer to his scales. "I've alwaysss liked you..." She confessed to him quietly. The holes she had for eyers listened intently to the sound of his breathing, so calm and soothing, it almost lulled her to sleep before he spoke again. She moved her head to stare in his eyes. What could he be thinking about? ]

"Nyoka, have you ever thought of family of your own?" he asked. Lately, he has been too. To care of ones of your own. To have a deep attachment to another. "Nyoka...I love you." he confessed, licking her softly with a flick of his tongue. He didn't want to bead around the bush too much.

[ "Yes. I just was." She couldn't stop smiling. She liked where this whole thing was going so much she couldn't help it. She would love nothing more than to have her own family, to love and watch over. Her face dropped as she heard him say he loved her and slithered around him with love. "I love you too. More than you'd know." She told him and licked him back. ]

"Nyoka, I want a family, I am ssure you do asss well." he nuzzled her softly. His tail entangled her's. He loved her, and his heart was at ease. She loved him, and they both shared the same thought of a family together. He could not help but smile, a family with a female taht he loved. He nuzzled her softly, "I love you."

[ "I would love to raise little eggs with you." She stared at him with eyes full of the hope of a future with him for as long as they both would be together. She nudged him lovingly. "Can we go home? I miss it." She just wanted to crawl on her rock and think out the rest of her life. Everything felt so sudden now and all she wanted to do was lay around at home and fall asleep. ]

"Yess, of coursse." he pulled away from her and dipped his head, allowing her to go first, "Ladiess, first." he said. He still had his manner and his pride as a snake. He wanted to go home and rest. Now that they have decided on a huge part of their lives, they must prepare for it. Mkarag smiled, his silver eyes glinting. Nyoka was his to love.
