I know you've seen it before. This one is different though.
There are many things in this world no one knows about. Vampire towns are one of them...
Deep in the wood lies a normal looking town where full sunlight never reaches. However this town is not normal. It is a place where Vampires rule. Some are rich, some are poor but all have one thing in common, blood slaves. Blood slaves are (normally young) humans that have been kidnapped and sold to the residents of dark town. The richest residents can have as many as three. Blood slaves range from 12-30, are usually asthetically pleasing and while they are (sometimes) allowed to live semi normal lives, are food for their masters.
The Vampires of Dark town decided long ago that they were sick of having to hunt humans every night and brought everyone together to form Dark town. The minimum amount of time to keep (and not kill) a human is three years. There is a strict law against turning a human unless the counsil approves. The town is ruled by the oldest Vampires in the town, the counsil of five. If a human believes they are being treated far too harshly, they can appeal to the counsil. The humans are provided food, clothing, shelter and (possibly) even education. Life isn't so bad for some humans.
Dark town has been around since the early 1700s and has a rich history. They have also embraced modern technology (though some still dress from earlier periods) and each human brought into the town is fitted with a collar or bracelet that, if the human strays one mile from it's master, will (depending on the setting) incapacitate or kill the human. It is one of the town laws. There is a strict law of non-abuse of humans in the streets, tavern (or forums).
Areas of town: Homes (pick your own)
Tavern: (serves blood and human drinks)
Human Free Zone: a small park in the middle of the town (has plants, a few cute animals, and a smallish playground)
Battle Arena: Some (rich) Vampires train their humans to fight against each other and the announced battles are always a sight to see! (battles are non lethal unless given permission to kill)
Shops: Everything from clothing from different periods, to human food, to blood.
Rule one: NO LUVY DUVY
If you want to go fall in love with a vampire/human there are lots of other (cavity inducing) forums I could show you. The only exception to this rule is if over a VERY long period of time a natural romance occurs.
Rule two: ALL VAMPIRES ARE NOT SUGARY SWEET!
It drives me crazy when I see all the adorably cute, cry if you step on an ant vamps out in the regular forum. SOME can be nice but we need some real meanies too. (MAINLY WE NEED A FEW GOOD VILLIANS TO SPICE THINGS UP!)
Rule Three: BE LIT!!!
I'm hoping this is a moot point being in a guild and all but I'm not sure. I don't mind *action* every once in a while cause I may slip and do it occasionally but please, write some content.
Rule Five: DON'T GET US BANNED!!!
I don't mind the occasional smacking around of human characters but keep a lid on the torture chambers or go smack the humans in PM. (If you wish you could show dragging them out of the main room then take the other stuff to PM)
Rule Six: DON'T SHOW TOO MANY PICTURES!
I have dial up still and all those pics take a LONG time to load. One or two to show how a character looks ok?
Rule Seven: TWO SPECIES ONLY!
Vamps and Humans. I don't care if you're a hunter or not. Half breed vampires are ok. HUMANS WILL BE BIT! If you come in here expect that. NO KILLING UNLESS YOU HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE PLAYER!!!!

Kharyn was a bad kid when he was human. That hasn't changed as a vampire. He enjoys the pain of others, and sometimes breaks the law and goes hunting for humans. An attractively youthful, lean and muscular body belies this "young" vampire's cruel, twisted interior. Many feel that he should be exiled, but others find his dark ways - or what is known of them - attractive. He speaks nothing of his past, maintaining that the future is filled with much more promise.
Human/s: None, he wants some.
Wealth: Very rich; when he was a young man he realized that his parents were very well-off, though he didn't know why, and that if they died, he would inherit. So he poisoned them. When he became a vampire he kept all of his wealth.
Personality: Cruel and power-hungry, he is also a sensuous person who enjoys the pleasures of the flesh quite deeply, and lives a rather hedonistic lifestyle.

Looks: Quite beautiful. She is a cruel beauty though. Crimson eyes, Long, dark purple hair, tiny waist and very pale as most of her kind are.
Backstory Paragraph: Lillith was once a princess, of what land she has forgotten. Her sire had fallen in love with her and turned her in order to be his bride. He also is long dead. Lillith has seen them come and seen them go and views humans as one would view a butterfly. The're quite pretty, not going to be around long, may as well not get attatched and oh wouldn't it look lovely pinned to a bulitin board behind a peice of glass?

However he wished for more and left his home on his 22nd birthday. after neary a year of driting he stumbled upon the twisted town of Dark town, only to have his life forever altered.

Personality: Aiden is a calm rational thinker in most cases, worked up only in extreme situations. He is loyal to those he respects and often knows his place even if he doesn't accept it. Often rebellious until he feels that another is worthy of his co-operation.

Looks: A cold stare had long since taken over her large silver eyes and pale face. Blood red lips and nearly black hair completed her beauty. An ideal figure was complemented by a deep crimson corset and black dress.
Backstory Paragraph: Chloe was always caring when she was a human, a skill picked up early in life. All she had to do was bat an eyelash and daddy's credit card came out, buying his little girl happiness. She was bit and life changed dramatically. The cold stare set in as the fangs grew. She has spent a period of time recently in the forest, alone, getting fresh blood only when she needs it. This was a partial cause for her cold shell... Chloe now enjoys the power she feels when taking over a human.

Looks: Sofia is a small, thin girl who appears younger than she is; not only because she’s a vampire. She was turned at 22 but still resembles a girl. She has dark, unruly hair that reaches her shoulder blades and big brown eyes that show an innocence she lost long ago.
Backstory Paragraph: Sofia was a peasant girl who was taken while her village was attacked. She stayed with her captor for some time after her change, not knowing what to do or go. Finally she arrived here where she’s been since, working and living a quiet life.
Human/s: One, a small boy.
Wealth: She’s holding her own. Not particularly rich but comfortable after so many years of hard work.
Personality: Sofia stopped caring about anyone else but herself. She has standards and rules for her life that she expects people to follow even if they don’t know what they are. There are unwritten rules of behavior and etiquette that she believes are the way society should follow in order to be honorable. After being disappointed so many times by the people she thought understood, she opted to never rely on anyone else and use them as they use her.

Backstory Paragraph: Madeline remembers every single atrocity done against her. She weighed her assailants’ crimes and punished them as she saw fit. They couldn’t be identified after she was through with them.
Human/s: None. She’s recetly started hunting humans again after her last slave.
Wealth: Rich. She likes seducing wealthy men and then murdering them for their gold.
Personality: Her anger and hatred has only grown with time and she’s learned to enjoy it and perfect it. She’s always calm and collected around people and keeps her rage for when she’s with a victim. She’s cunning and aware of all her attributes.
Species: FAIRY PRINCESS!!....Kidding....Human

Age: 19
Looks: Kaia is approximately 5'4" and 120 lbs. She possesses dark, dark brown hair, medium skin tones, and green eyes.
Backstory Paragraph: Kaia and her twin brother were captured together and remained unsold for quite a long time. Eventually, her brother was sent to the arena, and despite physical prowess, his kind nature caused him to be killed soon afterwards. This fueled Kaia's desperation further, and she managed somehow, to escape. Now, if she could just get that dratted bracelet off, she'd be in great shape...

Kharyn swept elegantly into the tavern, walked over to the bar, and took off his leather coat to drape it over the stool before sitting on it. Turning to the barkeep, he said in his cold, venomed voice, "You know what I want." The barkeep turned away, rolling his eyes slightly, and Kharyn tolerated this insolence only because he was getting what he wanted anyway. As always. Just the way he liked it. Taking the wine-glass filled with blood, he sipped it and closed his eyes, relishing the taste. A drop of the wonderful, crimson liquid escaped his mouth and trailed from the corner of it, leaving a red trail. Kharyn's tongue slipped out and caughtt he rogue droplet, and he licked his lips, staining then a deep, sensuous ruby red.

Lillith strides into the bar like a queen entering her palace, with her dark, purple hair and black cloak sweeping behind her. She primly sits down at the bar and orders a drink. She looks over at Kharyn.
"Back from hunting I see? Catch anything tasty?"
She delicatly sips the deep red liquid savoring the smooth way it goes down her throat. She sits back in her chair and fiddles with her diamond necklace.
"I really should go and get another slave. My last one, what was his name? went and expired on me again.
She sighs
"It really is hard to get a good quality slave these days. Almost makes me miss the old days."

Kharyn snorted delicately into his glass. "I couldn't find a single tasty anything around. Looks like a delicious morsel sitting right near me though!" His voice was low, smooth as the skin-tight silk shirt he wore.
"I agree fully with you there, beautiful. But...they're humans." As he spoke the word, his voice practically oozed condescention(sp?). "What else could you expect?"

Lillith laughs and rolls her eyes.
"My dear little boy, I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times I don't date anything that isn't at least half my age. I was around and kicking before your ancestors learned the wonders of fire!"
She takes another sip out of her wine glass and swirls the glass to keep the blood from congealing.
"Anyway, humans aren't all bad and some are quite pretty. They just... don't last very long."
She smiles, letting her fangs glint in the candle light.
"Did you ever see my display of pretties? I cast a preserving spell on them and put them in glass boxes. Some of them I can even remember the names of. They do rather disturb any new slaves I get until they get used to all the bodies though."

"I'm far better than any of your little slaves and you know it.." then returned to his original position, sipping at his glass. "But no, you never showed me any of your 'pretties' as you call them. And nobody seems to want to sell me a slave or two..."

"Let's just face it, Junior, you would shag anything that moves."
She pulls back and tosses her hair back over her shoulder.
"Do feel free to come by and look at my pretties though, they are a sight."
She gets up from the table and leaves a few coins for the barman.
"I'm off to try to find a slave. This is a fine establishment but I do get sick of the decour."
She nods at the barman and strides out the same way she came.
