lol... of course. It's great! And scary... but who's counting? And sometimes I'll hear popularish songs that we've played in orchestra. So, I of course have to start air-playing my viola... fingers and bow. Good times. Oh! And it's best when people start giving you funny looks....
Oh! And I'd like to point out (at the poll) that I'm not an orchestra nerd... I'm an orch dork.

And of course since I can't do that, I starting air-violaing and I got someone else to air-piano. It was really funny!!! And as for them thinking I'm retarded.... well... most people think I'm crazy anyway...

Oh, I'm far worse than that... sometimes I can pick out what composers used in their compositions that they "stole" from past composers...

It''s bad when you know the song, it's even worse when your fingers start twitching like you're actually playing it!!!!

It is commonly refered to the "Pachelbell Progression," but that's only because it is the most distinguishable progression by anyone... musical or not. (I'm such a music theory nerd xd )

The intro to House with that old scientist dude had the prelude to one of Bach's cello concertos. Canon in D and Vivaldi's four seasons in commercials. Etc.
And I don't even go and listen to classical music on purpose...

I was digging through some old records in my friend's basement and I found one that was classical music. It had Capriccio Espagnol on it, and it immediately started playing in my head. We had played it like 2 or 3 years ago in my orchestra class. It was really weird, and I couldn't get it out of my head all day. xD

hm.. another sad moment.... My orchestra teacher tries to be 'gansta' and he talks with that kind of vocabulary... so the day we had a good rehearsal, he said we sounded "phat" (he spelled it out)- which was good. But one of the younger (and stupider) kids raised his hand and said, "Um, Mr. Guzman? That's fat with an 'f', right?" Everyone started cracking up, but the kid who said it didn't get it.
