The dark-pelted femme stretched in the shade of one of the randomly-placed boulders that dotted the grassy plains near her den. Korou and Tama were out wandering, as she was; she didn't know where they were. They'd come looking for her when they were hungry if they couldn't find anything, and they'd hopefully gained the common sense to stay away from potential danger. They weren't impulsive cubs anymore. Tama was nearly adult, even. But that wasn't something Zakiya wanted to think about.
She shifted lavender eyes over to her son, chuckling as she saw him curiously watching a herd of zebra not far away, his eyes intent. He was startting to show interest in learning to hunt, but she still deemed him too young to start any physical teaching. For now, it would have to be visual.
She settled herself in a sphinx-like position and moved her eyes to slowly scan the land around them, not really expecting anyone to be in sight so early in the morning.

He regretfully turns from the herd after a few moments, tilting his head back to look up at the sky. He was more slender than either of his brothers, his legs longer, making him seen older than a male just out of cubhood. But it all added to the illusion of his definitely feminine attitude, helped by his posture. Something in the way he holds himself makes him look feminine, his forepaws almost crossed, resting one in front of the other, back legs close together with his tail curled a little around both of them. It was his normal way of standing, and was definitely not in any way masculine to look at.
He drops his lime green eyes back down to his mother, and noticing how she was scanning the area and being alert, he immediately copies. He acts far too much like her, in truth, and studies everything she does.
