~This is subject to change, but for now....~

A wide open field seems to stretch for miles with mild rolling hills. Off to the east a great empty expanse seems to hang with death, while the west seems lush with life. The west seems to be constituted of one thing, a forest, a jungle, a huge foresty jungle. The northern area seems to open out into a beach of sorts while the south seems to be a huge mountain tipped with flame. Mind you none of this is close or anything, but everything is spread out far and wide, spanning miles and miles.

The immediate area is full of low rolling hills with a tall grass that seems sharper than a blade forged to cut materials ten times stronger than adamantium. Yet in fact these grasses are completely harmless to those without intent on harming the grasslands on their minds or those of complete innocence.

A large open area has been cleared away with much pain taken to clear the grasses, prepped and readied for some future building.

"Do I get a clue to what the surprise is?"

*Huddled close, her mind tore itself away from the current reality, before Kalie could even discern an answer to her question, they were moving through the plains, the potentially lethal grasses and rolling hill sides soon replacing the billowing flames that flowed and dripped from the shadowed wings draped from Torment's shoulders.*

*As the brilliant light, that forced her to tightly hold her eyes closed faded, and cream colored blades began to flood her vision, Kalie blinked several times, clearing her head of the searing light..the fields coming into focus.*

*Lifting her chin from against Tor's shoulder, she took a step back allowing her eyes to fall around the wind swept white gold sea till it reached the northern, Eastern, and western most boundaries.*

"Where are we...."

*A slight pain flared through Torment's temple for a moment. Pressing his fingers against it to apply pressure to possibly lessen the pain he looked up and then gestured widly.*

"This.....is the Razor Fields. In combination with the whole of the five sections, and rumored sixth, it makes up the Elite Plains. Playground for the gods of ol...."

*He stopped for a moment and glanced off towards the lush green area for a moment as the innermost portion of his hair seemed to actually be burning, but the outer hair hid it, for the most part. He looked back towards Kalie.*

"Sorry, zoned out I guess. Anyway, Elite Plains, playground for the forgotten gods of yesteryear. They say the arm of mother nature herself tends the forests. Anyway, follow me."

*He took her hand and started walking through the grasses, seemingly in no particular direction, just walking....*

*Lightly swinging their joined hands back and forth, she followed after him, her foot making a swish sound as it occasionally kicked at the blades trying to discern what they were…exactly.*

"Are the plains, like the other places then? A remnant of your past?"

*Torment could help but laugh.*

"I could see how you could come to such a conclusion, but no. This is likely the third time Ive been here. I've had the fortune of claiming it as mine own, well, sorta. There are only a few others that alive in this place, and for the most part, they're friendly. This place was created by the oldest of gods, but now has little use. I see this place as not a representation of my past, but a place full of possibilities for my future. Oh, and don't kick the blades....think of them as living metal grasses."

*He paused as they seemed to reach a clearing. The grass had been cleared away and the ground was stained with blood. A pile of the grasses was off to the side with small bits of black or dark blue fabric and a wee bit of flaming red hair weaved into the felled grasses. Some seemed stained with blood. The clearing was big enough to put almost the entire TCM grounds within it, but that was just to the point where it was cut off from vision. The reason the land had been cleared is evident as a single battered golem and a rather tall man with mutilated flesh move building materials around.*

"This....this is the surprise. Excuse me..."

*He slips his fingers from her hand and darts over to the mutilated man and forms a comfy chair from the ground below him as his knuckles glow. He implores the man to sit. They were off a bit from where Kalie was and were whispering to one another.*

Torment: Regret, I told you, you weren't to help here, you were to go your own way. You owe me nothing, The Debt is repair. Cast off these shackles of servitude. If you won't accept my magical healing I can only ask you seek it of the Tangle. Please, as a friend, and not a former master, go help yourself. You need not be like this.

Regret: I keep my form as a reminder. Many have died by my side, because of me and my arrogance. I can only hope that I have taught you your own arrogance can lead to such a downfall. I know you have changed much, but you cannot always be the best, and you must conform to your own fate.

*Regreat glanced toward Kalie, and for once his eyes did not seem like empty black pools, but now had their own color and fullness. His eyes were green, even from the distance they seemed to catch all light and relfect it outwards.*

"Oh..right.."

*Slightly confused and gazing down at the cleared area, her eyes squinted in contemplation at the red speckles and tresses disrupting the otherwise colorless blades. Glancing back up, Kalie's eyes fell across the two men, then back down, while internally hoping that the surprise wasn't that Torment had some how mangled himself in whatever the fields were composed of, at least not over her.*

*Gently trapping her bottom lip between her teeth, she looked back up just in time to catch the brilliance of Regret's eyes. A little surprised at the sudden burst of color, she couldn't help but stare at him a little, her only memory had been of a general who's eyes were bottomless and devoid of any color.*

*Realizing how awkward it might be to anyone who saw her dumbly staring at the ex general, Kalie quickly diverted her eyes and wandered in the general direction of the golem, leaving curiosity to rain over previous thoughts.*

*While Torment and regret argue a bit over whether or not Regret should help himself or sit around and literally rot, the Golem trudges around, pulling things and pushing stuff. In it's work it notices one it had never seen before. Now, Golem's aren't exactly the smartest damn things, and if you throw in the fact thats its nearly three hundread years old, doesn't help much. It stares blankly at Kalie for a moment before letting out a metallic screech and swinging its cargo, which had been pulled behind it by a strong cable on a cart, around towards her at great speed.*

Torment: ******** three hundread year old idiots, ther both of you.

*With a simple wave of his right hand the Fist seemed to grow out from his hand with a bright glow. The cargo the golem had swung becomes naught but a wave of water after it leaves the Golem's grip. With a thrust of the Fist towards the golem it's legs become deeply rooted in the ground and it's skin becomes harder than it's strength can move its limbs.*

Regret: Its not my fault you had me stop watching him...more her fault than anything.

Torment: Oh do shut up, its not like she knew the thing is retarded after spending 300 years with you.

*He had already turned from Regret by the end of the sentence and was jogging over towards Kalie.*

"Heh...yeah...sorry about that, he's a bit old....the both of them...."

*Feeling as though her legs were rooted in place, Kalie's voice came out in a squeak, as the metal monstrosity came bounding at her.*

"s**t"

*Half expecting the thing to still hit her, her face turned at it's own accord, feeling the chill wave of water strike against rather then the strength of the golem.*

*Timidly peaking out from over her arm, with the subtle feeling of water dripping down her face now filling her senses, Kalie silently stood where her legs had held her. The only sound now radiating from the elemental, was a suction cup popping noise, as her fingertips pulled at the shirt mostly plastered to her skin.*

"It's okay..."

"I say we just leave you wet like that, looks so much better. Come here."

*Taking off his jacket he took her hand and pulled her close, unworried about getting wet at all. He slipped the jacket around her as he held her close, both just to hold her close and to keep her warm. The Razor Fields weren't exactly known for triple digit temperatures.*

"Ok, what I want you to do is guess what exactly I brought you here for. I would think its obvious with the building materials and cleared area..."

"Should of told me to wear white if we were having a wet t-shirt contest...dark colors don't work as well for some reason.."

*Clinging to Torment, she half mumbled little comments into his chest, while looking down at the soaked top, a thin bra line, she was tugging at, the only thing visible of what was underneath.*

*Smiling, she sank farther into his hold, meshing her wet shirt into his. While actually thinking about the question before making a half educated guess at it.*

"If you have ownership, in a sense, of everything around us, maybe a house? You did want one before, just as we left from the falls."

((really wierd, cause I was really considering having Torment turn her shirt into a white t-shirt just before the water hit.))

"Nope, a fortress to build my army so I can kill all the gods."

*He paused for a moment, he was being facetious, just wanting to see her reaction. He continued with a little laugh.*

"No, but seriously, I did indeed intend to build a house. I wanted you to have a direct say in how it was built and what it would look like. Just as you thought, not exactly going to be a normal home, huh? It'll be our home. I can set up like an uber Teleportation Circle of some sort so we can get around and back to the material plane and such. An' I'm sure thats just a whole hell lotta stuff in the other 4 sections, maybe 5, of these Elite Plains that we can see and experience."

*He lightly kissed her on the forehead as he just looked around.*
PostPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2004 8:57 pm

*Chuckling she shook her head, trying to resist the urge to punch Torment in the stomach, at the least.*

"How to build it? I don't know, just make it stronger then a normal house, so it won't blow up or anything the first time there’s a catastrophic accident or something else goes wrong."

"Other then having lots of windows.. " *Trailing off, she sighed softly and leaned back into his arms, before drifting back to reality.*

"Where would you place the link to the teleportation circle on the other side, so it could be used to get here? at the TCM?"

"Well duh it'd be stronger than normal, cause you know, accidents and cataclismic events seem to follow me... What I meant is like how you want it to look and all. Where certain rooms should go, stuff like that."

*He paused for a moment in thought.*

"No...I think there will definately be a Teleportation Circle on this end for like a locked position to arrive at, but I'm going to whip up something that allows going to and from anywhere to a select few. Something of an Epic persuassion."
PostPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2004 9:45 pm

"I noticed, your like a magnate for them.. only they like to explode upon reaching you."

"Torment.." *Turning around in his hold, Kalie just kind of stared at him*

"Where the rooms normally go? Seriously.. room placement, doesn't matter to me, so long as our bedroom isn't sitting in the middle of a bonfire.. the only thing I really want in the house, should already be there..you.

*He didn't say anything, but gave her a light kiss on the lips as he rested his forehead against hers.*

"Then you shall have it."

*He let slip a small laugh.*

"I was so set on having our room in the middle of a bonfire, darn!"

*He simply stared into her eyes for a moment, the purple in his eyes seemingly especially bright today, with what appeared to be flames deep within, almost as if he held an inferno just beyond his eyes.*
