I read this wonderfully good fanfic that wasn't really about YamiXYugi, but it included it...
See, in the story Yugi and Yami get together as boyfriend/boyfriend... but then Mana comes in and turns yugi INTO a GIRL. That right there just took the fun out of it all... and then when the two had a daughter, that was just FREAKY. (I was hoping it'd be a son...)
I just wanted to know about everyone else...
Do you like it when the uke in your favorite Yaoi pairing is turned into a girl? That's the main question.
Me personally... no.

I wouldn't care if it was just for humor perposes. The only thing I hate about ukes (or semes for that matter) turning into a girl is when they get pregnet. burning_eyes I don't care if they are female at the moment, it's still as wrong as Mpegs. X______X I wouldn't mind REAL female charaters like Mai getting pregnet as they ARE female and it's okay. THAT'S natural.

It is wrong... I'm seriously wanting to send a flamer... but I don't have the backbone to do it... and it wouldn't matter anyways. It's already completed.

I think if done right it can be humorous and a bit sexy, but otherwise no. It should never be done as something serious; only for fun and shouldn't be permanent. Such a major change to a character's self isn't right unless it's just something that happened and won't last... like a phaze.

Sorry if that offended you, but that's my opinion. The don't like don't look is only applicable if they give a warning. I've read a fanfiction where they didn't. x.o;; They felt they needed to make Yuugi a hermaphrodite as an "excuse" for his being gay. It pissed me off and disgusted me on so many levels. x.o (Though I did not flame them)

I don't mind it but it does seem to lose some of it's flavor. Unless it's done in the right way. For instance check out..... http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2411203/1/This was done really well and is one of my favorite seto Jou fics. I likey.
